There’s around 243 sealed collections indexed in ORD according to Lifo Let’s say theoretically you lose the parent somehow or sell it. Someone else could inscribe ord torches under that parent and grow the collection. Or worst case scenario you decide you want to mint another batch.

@AOBCollector @BaseChain @OrdTorches You are framing it in the way that that is the standard procedure. I dont see any other parent/child collections actually doing that. At least not any in size. E.g. #0 or #1 or any other shroom p/c..

Looking at @OrdTorches on Satflow @0x6Paths will the collection be sealed by burning the parent?

To be fair, I don’t think that is the intention here but anything COULD happen That’s why it’s important to burn the parent. In this case he could have inscribed a child to the shroom and then make ordtorches children of that child. Then the child could have been burned and the shroom saved

I suspect the reason most conventional Bitcoin people think that the polls were sybiled/spammed, is because they just don't know how big and active the ordinals ecosystem is. They are information siloed so they think there can't possibly be a *larger* Bitcoin user cohort that they aren't aware of, so therefore the polls aren't reflective of actual sentiment. But the blockchain doesn't lie -- 30%+ of all transactions are ordinals/runes related and it's been that way for YEARS. Casey vs Erin is likely the true reflection of who the biggest/maddest maxi is.
