It’s today! Summer in the Square kicks off in half an hour - come down to chat with local charities, browse stalls and have some food with friends. See you there!

The stalls are going up... We’re so excited for the opening of Summer in the Square - be sure to come to Battersea tomorrow!

Good food, great company and lots of interesting people to chat with - Summer in the Square is just four days away! Come along on Saturday to hear more from a variety of charities, meet new people and - if you fancy it - have a donkey ride!

You'll have the chance to hear more about The Good Guys painting and decorating scheme, too, who set aside a percentage of their earnings from each job to decorate those in need for free. Come along on the 15th to meet Cyle! goodguysdecorating.com

Carney's Community does some brilliant work helping young people by giving them skills, discipline and self-respect - and we're very lucky to be hosting them at Summer in the Square this Saturday! Check out their site for more details > carneyscommunity.org

On 15th September Summer in the Square is also hosting the team from Talk Wandsworth, which operates in the heart of the community and aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. They do amazing work, so don't miss out on the opportunity to learn more!

Also attending our Summer in the Square community fun day (15th Sept) will be the Wandsworth LGBTQ+ Forum, which campaigns locally, across London and nationally to raise awareness and promote the interests of LGBTQ+ people - come along to find out more!

Local charities, local community groups, local enterprises, local traders are coming together for a day of community fun in Battersea Square between 11 and 4 pm on Saturday 15th September. Lots of children’s activities including donkey rides!

Another exciting stall at Summer in the Square: the Battersea Summer Scheme, a part of the Battersea Crime Prevention Panel. Come and find out about the work they do to drive youth engagement during the holidays - from sports in the park to residential trips!

In particular, the team will be sharing information about the new jobs available and the community work being undertaken to help people across Wandsworth - will be great to hear more about the project, so do pop down to have a chat!

We will also be joined at Summer in the Square by the team from Battersea Power Station Roadshows. These are really interesting opportunities to inform the public of the benefits being created as the development project takes shape. Come along on September 15 to find out more!
