Thread: Recently, BCHS welcomed health systems from across the region for an Indigenous Health Gathering “Strengthening the Canoe". Participants learned about “Two Row Medicine” from Dr. Karen Hill and heard powerful stories from Mohawk Institute Residential School survivors.

In honour of Indigenous Nurses Day, BCHS proudly recognizes Kennedy Montour, Kristen Henhawk, Kate Morey, and Heather Bomberry for their dedication & contributions. Their presence strengthens relationships within the healthcare system & helps build a more inclusive environment.

🎉 Exciting news! BCHS has been awarded an additional $12.5M planning grant as part of the recent Ontario budget. This funding will help us advance the next stage of our hospital redevelopment, supporting new hospital buildings on a greenfield site.
