Its been a long time between wetting a line. Back at Jervis Bay & looking fwd to catching a squid to BBQ & bream or small snapper to smoke.

Off to Jervis Bay for a week to catch some fish + mud crabs :-)

Now back at Hyams Beach @ Jervis Bay for 3 weeks. Gonna catch a few crabs in St Georges Basin, + lotsa fish & fresh squid in Jervis Bay.

Returning to Hyams Beach. The weather is warming up :-). Sounds like flathead or snapper for dinner this week, or crab from St Georges Basin

Now returned to Sydney from the Great Barrier Reef (Cairns). Had some great fishing for tropical & tasty fish :-). Off to Jervis Bay on Tues

Too cold on the South Coast for fishing. On my way to Cairns/Great Barrier Reef for a few days to catch a Red Emperor for dinner.

The Jervis Bay area has also had seriously heavy rains. So no fish nearby for a while :-(. Store-bought fresh calamari for the pasta tonite.

The State of NSW has suffered huge floods. The dams are overflowing. So much for the genius misinformed doomsayers about climate change . .

Jervis Bay bans commercial fishing, but some creatures have been gouging the Bay for squid. The Rangers can't catch them. Perhaps soon !

Have to go back to Sydney for a few days. Then back to Hyams Beach @ Jervis Bay. The tourist season has finished & so some space for fishing

Still at Hyams Beach on Jervis Bay. Too many holidaymakers & boats around to do any fishing for the next couple of weeks :-( C'est la vie.
