From today until Wednesday, our fighter pilots will train along the coast, resulting in increased flying activity and occasional brief noise peaks. These flights are essential to maintaining operational readiness. 📸Moors M.

Yesterday, a ceremony marked the closure of our Operational Conversion Unit (OCU) in Kleine-Brogel. For nearly four decades, the OCU trained our Belgian F‑16 pilots for operational missions, a proud legacy now preserved at the Kleine Brogel museum. 📷Kleine-Brogel

Next week, our pilots will train along the coast, leading to increased flying activity. Some phases may cause brief noise peaks, especially during low‑altitude manoeuvres or when using inert training munitions. These flights are vital to maintain our crews’ operational readiness.

Our Air Chief visited the Tactical Training Week in France 🇫🇷✈️ Paratrooper drops, A400M formation flight, and tactical missions around Orléans, all aimed at boosting interoperability with the @Armee_de_lair 🤝✨

Change of Command of the Multinational MRTT Unit took place. ✈️ With the appointment of Colonel Aviator Engineer Evert Cuppens as commander, a Belgian is taking command of this multinational unit for the first time.

Our #F16s are currently testing the latest software in 🇩🇰. Thanks to the great cooperation and warm welcome from @forsvaretdk, our teams can operate in optimal conditions. Flexibility, #interoperability and strong #partnerships keep us ready for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

Our first two H145M 🚁 pilots have successfully completed their training and are now certified Type Rating Instructors (TRI). They can now train and qualify the next generation of H145M pilots, a key step in safely introducing this new capability.

A delegation from the Staff and 2W Tac represented the 🇧🇪 Air Force at the European Airshow Council Convention in Athens.🇬🇷 Workshops highlighted innovation, sustainability, safety and collaboration, while strengthening collaboration within the international airshow community. 💡
