Following on from the introduction of the new bill to establish the GB Energy, we expect government, through the GBE, to help support the decarbonisation of homes both through direct involvement in providing efficiency improvements, and by expanding generation of cleaner power.

Another of BEAMA's suggested priorities for the early days of the next #Government 2. 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 – launch the consultation that had been promised on lowering the price of electricity to improve the benefits of low carbon technologies.
