BEF receives a $15,000 grant from the PGE Foundation to sustain & expand hands-on career technical exploration pipeline programs for @beavertonsd middle school students in the construction trades + manufacturing fields. Thank you PGE Foundation!

Congrats Yu-chi Wen, Angela Mendel + Elmonica Elementary! Elmonica students are designing & creating their own ideas w/new 3D printers. Thx to funding from their recent BC project, students work together to creatively problem solve, while focusing on STEM topics and subjects.

Beaverton’s Choice is a BEF online resource that enables educators in @BeavertonSD to help fund their school/classroom projects. Molly Kershaw of @beaveracres_BSD has received 3 Beaverton's Choice Awards for her projects in March 2022, November 2022 & 2023, serving 850 students!

Last week, we kicked off the first of a series of Fridays where @intel volunteers will join 8th graders in @MountainViewBSD, @StollerMS & @tumwatermiddle technology classes to work on hands-on projects. Partnerships, like these are what make Beaverton schools stand out.

BEF is honored to support the Beaverton Band Together program, to expand musical opportunities for students in Beaverton public schools. This initiative helps students participate in band regardless of their family’s ability to purchase or rent an instrument. #bef4kids
