I understand it now. The defense has multiple opportunities to effect your green window before you release the ball. Gather, Mid Air, Release. So you have to 100% fill the meter to leave no room for contest error. Don't try to get the meter in the green window if it's large, because that can/will change. Try to COMPLETELY fill the meter, so that if the window does change, it'll still be 100% full, resulting in a Green (I think).

This is my mistake. You don't lose Perimeter Def. when you lose adrenaline, you lose Block and Steal ratings. Sorry for the confusion.

Nothing has changed with shooting or game speed. When we do make gameplay changes, they will be announced through our official 2K channels and/or patch notes.

@Lukegmorris93 @NBA2KMovement the better your timing, the greater margin of error you’re allowed to match the Tempo. for rhythm shooting, Timing is just another factor (like coverage) that dictates the size of the green Tempo window. so timing matters but it’s not the determining factor for makes and misses.

@NBA2KMovement @Beluba what’s the point in showing release timing for rhythm shooting when it’s irrelevant? You can excellent timing but slightly the tempo and it misses everytime

@Beluba @WoLF74 My jumpshot meter and excellent release feedback is not showing up when I'm shooting either mid-range or three-point shots with the square button or the right stick. But when I attempt layups, dunks and shoot free throws it shows up

@HimothyHames @Coastal_Bucketz Usually the right stick is moving too slow or too late. might help to get a slower jumper.

@Beluba Please explain to everybody AGAIN Rhythm shooting last year had a much bigger green window, thats why you had to green the timing and the tempo. This year Button shooting and rythem have the same green window, So its only fair to have to green 1 thing.People dont get it
