@Beska Worked with this journal for nearly 19 years and helped me (and many other residents) get their first publication. Peer reviewers were making ridiculous demands I felt weren’t needed nor in keeping with the style of the journal. So I stopped agreeing to make all their changes.

Sad to see that a once great UK medical journal has been turned into one of those predatory land-fill "research" factories. Rejected 2 commissioned (!) reviews I'd written with resident drs so I've asked to be removed from their editorial board & blocked their emails/X account.
