But the actual head-to-head results, where it’s just the two rivals? Clemson has won 14 of the past 18 matchups across all sports, with one tie. I can’t see bragging to your neighbor that USC won the Palmetto Series because of scholarship recipients and lotto tickets.

I realize the Palmetto Series awards points for non-athletic criteria, and only counts the baseball series winner and also counts who finishes higher in multi-team events like golf. HTH results don’t deter USC from winning (it did last year), and fans/admins from celebrating it.
