I didn’t drop this loud. I let it move how it needed to move. But now I’m opening it up. This story came from real questions… real tension… real moments I couldn’t ignore. If you’ve ever felt like there’s more going on beneath the surface… 📖 The Calling — Available now

Testimony Thursday Four years ago, I had to face a reality I wasn’t ready for. My daughter was diagnosed on the spectrum. My wife stepped in immediately—strong, focused, informed. It took me time to process and grow to become the husband and Dad my family needed. 🧩💙🙏🏾

Watching Congress sometimes feels like visiting a daycare— except in the kingdom of God, maturity isn’t about age, but about learning how to love and learning how to share.

You’re not stuck. You’re just tied. Tied to fear. Tied to failure. Tied to what didn’t work. But hear this— what was tied was still chosen. “The Lord has need of it.” God is about to call what you thought was overlooked. God is about to use what you thought was unusable.

When Plan A fell apart… I went to B. When B broke down… I ran through C, D, E… all the way to Z. And somewhere between exhaustion and surrender… I realized something sacred: God was never waiting at the end of the alphabet. He was waiting at the beginning.

I don’t just want a son. I want to raise a man. This week we announced we’re having a boy. 💙 And before he ever takes his first breath, there are truths I need in his spirit. To love God. To honor his mother. To respect women. To live with discipline, focus, and fire.

@mattchand @adarathexplorer Thank you so kindly Matt. I’ll definitely relay the message. She and the baby are doing well. We just did the gender reveal right outside of church yesterday. It’s been an exciting season. Definitely look forward to catching up soon. She’s enjoying bed rest. 😊

The Babylonian Talmud records a debate: who should take precedence, the Sinai, who carries the weight of accumulated knowledge, or the “Oker Harim” (the “uprooter of mountains), the one who excels in piercing analysis and clever argument? The text leans toward the Sinai. The Maharsha explains why. Sinai, the mountain, was not lofty. It did not rise above the others. It was chosen precisely because it did not seek to. The Torah was given not to the highest peak but to the one that made no claim to greatness. The implication is not subtle. Those who rest on brilliance, on the ability to “uproot mountains,” often mistake sharpness for wisdom. But intellect, untethered from reverence and memory, distorts rather than reveals. For ancient Israel, the Sinai carried not just information but formation, truth received, kept, and transmitted with care. This thread runs through the prophets. Zechariah hears it plainly: “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.” The great mountain will be leveled, not by strategy or strength, but by the presence of God. Jesus draws on the same imagery when he speaks of saying to the mountain, “Be removed and cast into the sea.” He is not endorsing spectacle. He is naming trust. Not rhetorical power. Not spiritual theatrics. Trust. The tradition, both rabbinic and Christian, resists our cultural tendency to valorize mental agility as the highest virtue. It reminds us that there is a kind of knowing that comes not from intellectual reach, but from the long obedience of holding what has been given. Sinai still speaks, not because it towered over others, but because it became the place where the Word descended. The enduring work of God rarely begins in the high places.

On this Juneteenth, we reflect on the fight for physical freedom and rejoice in the spiritual freedom we have in Christ. Walk boldly in that liberty today and every day. 🙌🏾 #juneteenth2025

Please pray for me. I’m not doing okay. No one in my life really gets what I’m going through right now besides my husband (who is incredible). He and God are holding me together right now.
