@millerjpower I would be interested to learn more about what you think we could do to improve the survey?

With Brexit dominating the news, it's easy to forget that there are other issues people care about. MPs are talking today about racism in football. This is clearly a problem in our national sport - Do you think enough is being done to tackle it? #kickitout #SayNoToRacism

Local elections in Northern Ireland and some parts of England are approaching. We’re encouraging young people to be active in their communities and take their rightful place at the table and no longer be on the menu. Register to vote by the 12 April #takepower #bitetheballot

@reyNCSGO @AkiraFeligon Interesting point. It's good to be present with all the information that you can allow the individual to formulate their own opinion and not be swayed by misinformation or disinformation.

@BiteTheBallot @AkiraFeligon The media need to be as transparent as possible. They need to admit their bias' so we can have a more honest media and so people can think for themselves. Teachers need to teach and not express their political opinion as they hold a position of power and can sway opinions.

@AkiraFeligon @reyNCSGO Good point. This reminds me of that quote "There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."

@BiteTheBallot @reyNCSGO I think the issue is more that sometimes people don't know what they don't know. My flatmates would never have thought to look up their rights as a tenant, because they didn't know they HAD rights. Even excluding my foreign flatmate, that's still two adult men with no clue on it.

@BiteTheBallot Not really. They develop skills necessary to living, sure, but don't actualise the potential of many students. There's so many people out there with undiscovered talents that they'll never nurture because they, instead, dedicated hours to Pythagoras and Hydrogen bonds

@OrestMetaph What changes would you propose that need to happen to help teach people about the future?

@BiteTheBallot They don't teach you anhthing genuinely useful. I don't know how to buy a house or what what universal Credit is. Don't know how to write a CV, and all I've truly got from school is physical and mental health issues. They teach you about the past but don't peep for the future.

@reyNCSGO @AkiraFeligon With all the issues at the moment surrounding "fake news", do you think that more support is needed to find the right answer online?

@AkiraFeligon @BiteTheBallot The way education is taught is terrible. Though we have the internet and the ability to research and gain knowledge ourselves. I'm sure the information you're looking for is out there and if not then I'm sure you can ask someone with more life experience.

@AkiraFeligon @ThatBishMila Sorry to hear about your experience Akira. I remember when I was in school we had PSHE but it was never taken seriously. I wish I was taught more about my basic rights, finances e.g. loans etc when I was in school. (Ben) Mila, how was your experience in school?

@ThatBishMila @BiteTheBallot Point being, I had the means to defend myself from them breaking the tenancy agreement AND law, but it still didn't really do much because nobody else was complaining, they simply had no clue it was illegal. If everyone had a basic education on this, it wouldn't be allowed.
