"StatsCan confirms the brain drain: recent emigrants are disproportionately young (67% aged 20-44 vs. 32% nationally), highly educated (31% master's+ vs. 9%), and in sciences/STEM (23% vs. 8%). This talent loss stems directly from the Trudeau Liberal government's post-2015 strategy: abandoning a selective high-skill points system for massive volume-driven immigration, pushing permanent targets to 500,000/year while surging temporary workers/students to fuel growth and offset aging/low fertility. The rationale? Economic expansion and labour shortages. The blind spot? Housing/infrastructure couldn't keep pace, costs/taxes soared, productivity stagnated, and top talent fled to the U.S. How could they not see the full spectrum? In any private-sector job, mistakes like this would get you fired. On a national scale, the result of poor decisions is devastating: affordability crisis, resentment, and a leaky bucket losing our best people. Strong, managed immigration builds Canada. This unchecked approach is bleeding it dry. Time for a reset, prioritize quality, capacity, and retention before the damage is irreversible.

Which demographics of Canadians are leaving Canada? >67% of the are 20-44 year olds. >3x more likely to be in Sciences than avg population. >31.1% have a masters degree. >61.4% left to the US. In other words, it's Canada's youngest, most talented and educated population.

"Any real, direct threats against the Mark Carney or any Canadian must be taken seriously and properly investigated, that’s not up for debate. But sending Toronto Police to Nicole Miske’s home over a heated Instagram post criticizing Mark Carney (with the line ‘I’m coming for you’), issuing a caution with zero charges? That’s dangerous overreach and a chilling message to anyone who dares criticize those in power. This is straight out of the United Kingdom’s playbook, where police now make over 12,000 arrests per year, more than 30 a day, for ‘offensive’ social media posts, retweets, and comments under "vague" communications laws. Door knocks, cautions, and arrests for political venting have become routine there, and free speech is paying the price. Now, as this video resurfaces, the Carney government is pushing Bill C-22 to expand police digital investigation powers. Canadians, is this what we want here? Do we really want to follow Britain down this road of turning angry political criticism into a police matter? We can fight genuine threats without eroding the fundamental Charter of Rights & freedoms that define us... Purpose, it protects the fundamental freedoms, democratic rights, mobility rights, legal rights, and equality rights of people in Canada from infringement by government action. Just so we are clear about this...

“Nick Shirley is a damn hero doing the job so-called ‘leaders’ refuse to do. While Gavin Newsom mocks a 23-year-old journalist with creepy AI memes and pretends a 2021 moratorium fixed anything, Nick just walked into LA’s hospice fraud hell-scape and exposed $170 million in taxpayer theft. Ghost companies registered 89-deep in a single Van Nuys strip-mall building, empty offices, dead phones, zero patients, yet millions in Medicare/Medi-Cal bills pouring out to fraudsters cruising in BMWs and Teslas. These scammers aren’t ‘entrepreneurs’, they’re straight-up thieves running shell operations that teach people how to set up fake hospices for quick millions, while real seniors lose life-saving care and taxpayers foot the bill for luxury lifestyles built on lies. Newsom’s office attacking the messenger instead of the criminals proves exactly who they’re protecting. Thank God for Nick Shirley and the growing chorus (even U.S. Democrat Sen. Fetterman) demanding real accountability. Keep filming, Nick, expose every last ghost office, every luxury car, every fake enrollment. Americans are done funding this billion-dollar grift. Time to shut it down, arrest the fraudsters, and claw back every stolen dime. Real journalism just saved taxpayers more than most politicians ever will.” Nick’s work is shining a brutal light on the rot, and the fraudsters are running scared. Share this far and wide... I wonder what's happening in Canada? hummmm.

On Joe Rogan, Pierre Poilievre went straight for the jugular: rip up tariffs on our oil, lumber, aluminum, and critical minerals now. Unlock two million more barrels of Canadian oil a day, create thousands of high-paying jobs, put Canadian goods on the U.S., and actually lower gas and housing costs on both sides of the border. This isn’t groveling, this is hard-nosed, Canada-First conservatism: expose the Liberal incompetence that just cost us 84,000 jobs and 7.3% food inflation, then fix the real problems at home so we negotiate from strength, not weakness. This must become Canada’s official government plan for the next decade: slash red tape, build housing like crazy, greenlight resource projects coast-to-coast, turn our energy and mineral wealth into unbreakable leverage, and secure permanent tariff-free access to our biggest customer. No more Davos virtue-signalling. No more begging. Just raw Canadian prosperity. Poilievre is showing exactly how it’s done. As for President Trump’s revived “Donroe Doctrine” (the 2026 U.S. hemisphere-first policy that led to the Venezuela/Maduro operation). Yes, he congratulated Trump on removing Maduro and called him a “narco-terrorist”, a principled stand against dictatorship, especially given his wife’s Venezuelan roots. Critics on the left immediately screamed that this meant he was handing Canada over to U.S. But Poilievre’s actual record destroys that smear. In speeches and on Rogan he has been crystal clear: “zero chance” of Canada ever becoming the 51st state; Trump’s annexation talk is “unacceptable”; tariffs on Canada are “wrong.” His repeated message is “Stronger at home, leverage abroad”: rebuild our military, assert Arctic sovereignty, develop our own resources, and deal with the U.S. as a sovereign equal partner, not a vassal. That is the opposite of subservience. In short, Poilievre’s stance is the smart, conservative realist position Canada needs right now: a strong, independent Canada that uses free trade and continental security cooperation to protect our interests against real threats (China in the Arctic, supply-chain chaos, globalist overreach) while never ceding one inch of sovereignty. Carney’s globalist weakness left us vulnerable to tariffs and 51st-state jokes. Poilievre’s Canada-First strength makes those threats impossible. That’s why his Rogan message isn’t just good politics, it’s the only realistic path to a prosperous, sovereign future. So far.... If any other leader in Canada can step up and tell us their vision for a True North Strong and Free. Let's hear it.

“Canada’s happiness has been in freefall for a decade, from a proud top-6 global spot to a humiliating 25th place today, with our under-25s now languishing at 71st worldwide. This is no accident. A toxic mix of unaffordable housing, crushing living costs, stagnant wages, and an epidemic of social-media addiction has shredded the social supports, security, and optimism that once made Canada a beacon. While Finns thrive on strong welfare, quality education, personal safety, and real connections to nature and each other, we’ve watched our young people grow more anxious, isolated, and broke with every passing year. The data is brutal: North American youth happiness has dropped almost a full point on the 0–10 scale while the rest of the world rose. Enough excuses. Without urgent fixes on housing supply, cost-of-living relief, and protecting kids from algorithmic doom-scrolling, this degradation will only accelerate, turning the next generation into the unhappiest cohort in our history. Canada deserves better.”

Finland is the Happiest country in the World for the 9th year running. We also climbed up the world brand index from 7th to 5th. I am often asked why we do well in these rankings. I do not think there is a magic potion, but it helps to have a society which strives towards freedom, equality and justice. The basis of it all is a welfare society, a robust education system, a sense of security and a close attachment to nature. There is no such thing as a perfectly happy society, but providing some building blocks that give us a chance to live a meaningful life, to help others, will nudge us in the right direction during the journey of life.

Bill C-9, the Combatting Hate Act, is presented by the Liberal government as a necessary response to rising hate crimes, intimidation at places of worship, and the public display of symbols tied to terrorism or historical hate groups like Nazism. Conservative accusations of rushed "censorship," chilling effects on free speech, and threats to religious freedoms, the bill represents a troubling expansion of state power that risks undermining core democratic protections under the guise of safety. The repeal of the Attorney General's consent requirement for hate propaganda proceedings removes a key historical safeguard against politically motivated or overzealous prosecutions, lowering the threshold for charges and increasing the potential for abuse or selective enforcement. The new offence criminalizing the wilful promotion of hatred through public display of specified symbols (e.g., swastikas, SS bolts, or those linked to listed terrorist entities) is overly broad despite narrow defences for journalism, education, art, or good-faith criticism; critics argue it could ensnare legitimate historical, protest, or symbolic expression, creating a chilling effect on political dissent and artistic freedom. The creation of a standalone hate crime offence (codifying motivation by hatred) and new offences for intimidating or intentionally obstructing access to religious/cultural sites, schools, or community centres are particularly problematic. These provisions use vague terms like "intimidation," "obstruction," or "interference" that could criminalize peaceful protests, labour pickets, or demonstrations near thousands of such locations across Canada. Even if no violence occurs, potentially turning routine advocacy or assembly into felony-level crimes punishable by significant prison time. Civil liberties groups, faith organizations, and labour unions have warned that this disproportionately empowers police discretion, risks suppressing marginalized communities' own protests against injustice, and erodes accountability. The government's push to limit debate via time-allocation motions, amid committee delays and filibusters, amplifies perceptions of authoritarian haste, bypassing thorough scrutiny of these Charter-engaging measures. While the official Charter Statement acknowledges potential limits on s. 2(b) expression, s. 2(c) assembly, and s. 2(a) religion, and claims justifications under s. 1, many experts contend the bill's vagueness, redundancy with existing laws, and removal of safeguards fail the minimal-impairment test established in cases like R. v. Keegstra. In the context of the story's portrayal of rushed proceedings, partisan tensions (e.g., PM Carney's absence from question period), and fears over Bible quotes or lowered prosecution bars, Bill C-9 appears less as balanced protection and more as an overreach that prioritizes expansive criminalization over precision potentially chilling unpopular speech, religious discourse, and protest rights while doing little to meaningfully deter genuine hate. Beyond free speech and religious freedoms, the bill may also challenge Charter rights to peaceful assembly (s. 2(c)) and equality (s. 15) by disproportionately affecting protest activities and marginalized groups' advocacy.

This is a systemic policy failure, not merely frontline or hospital-level mismanagement. Emergency physicians, nurses, and patients are bearing the consequences of decisions made by elected officials and health bureaucrats who have allowed overcrowding to become normalized, resulting in preventable loss of life on a scale that would be unacceptable in comparable nations. One-Line Solution Enforce national standards for emergency access and hospital bed capacity through conditional federal health transfers, mandating provinces to rapidly increase acute-care beds, expand long-term care, and eliminate hallway boarding within a fixed timeline. The primary responsibility rests with provincial governments (which have constitutional authority over health care delivery in Canada) and, to a significant extent, the federal government (which provides major funding via transfers and sets broader policy frameworks). Decades of policy choices have led to this crisis: Provincial health ministries and governments (across parties and jurisdictions) have chronically underfunded and underbuilt acute-care hospital capacity. Canada maintains one of the lowest numbers of hospital beds per capita among OECD countries, a trend exacerbated by bed closures in the 1990s–2000s that were never adequately reversed despite population growth and aging. Inadequate investment in long-term care, home care, and community supports has created "bed blocking," where ALC (alternate level of care) patients occupy acute beds, preventing admissions from EDs. Federal governments (successive Liberal and Conservative administrations) have failed to tie health transfer payments to enforceable national standards for access, wait times, or bed capacity despite repeated promises and reports highlighting the issue. The absence of binding accountability mechanisms allows provinces to prioritize short-term budgets over patient safety.

They appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court shortly after, with bail granted (Singh on a $25,000 bond in February 2025, Narula similarly). The case faced repeated adjournments throughout 2025. Ultimately, the Public Prosecution Service of Canada (federal Crown prosecutors) entered written stays of proceedings: against Narula on February 24, 2026, and against Singh on February 27, 2026. Stayed charges can be revived within one year, but if not, they are effectively terminated. Prosecutors cited standard policy reasons assessing "reasonable prospect of conviction" and whether "the public interest" supported continuing without providing specific details or evidence breakdowns publicly. This outcome is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about accountability in Canada's handling of the opioid crisis. The seizure involved a quantity of fentanyl capable of causing catastrophic harm, yet federal prosecutors operating under the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, which reports to the Attorney General of Canada chose to halt proceedings after more than a year. The vague invocation of "public interest" or conviction prospects, without transparent justification, undermines public confidence in the justice system at a time when opioid overdoses continue to claim thousands of lives annually across the country. Responsibility lies primarily with the federal Crown prosecutors who made the decision to stay the charges. Their office must explain why a case involving such a large fentanyl load intercepted during an active trafficking investigation was deemed unworthy of pursuit, especially given the national scale of the overdose epidemic. Broader accountability extends to the Attorney General and the federal government, which oversee prosecution policy and resource allocation for drug enforcement. Repeated instances of major drug cases being stayed or dropped contribute to perceptions of leniency toward traffickers, potentially deterring effective interdiction and exacerbating the crisis. This is not about isolated prosecutorial discretion; it reflects systemic priorities that appear to de-emphasize vigorous enforcement against high-volume fentanyl trafficking. Canadians deserve clear explanations, greater transparency in such decisions, and a justice approach that treats opioid distribution with the urgency it demands rather than allowing potential distributors to walk free without meaningful consequence.

🚨 MAJOR UPDATE: All charges STAYED against Kunwardeep Singh & Swati Narula in the 18 lb fentanyl bust near Swift Current, SK — potential for ~4M lethal doses. They walk free. No explanation from Crown. Months ago I went to Swift Current to investigate & interviewed researcher Bob Rai, who exposed the assigned Crown prosecutor as "tainted." Prosecutor Kim Alan Stinson, had previously been SUSPENDED, SANCTIONED, and found GUILTY of two counts of conduct unbecoming a lawyer by the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Check out this exclusive report to learn more:
Mocha Bezirgan 🇨🇦@BezirganMocha

EXCLUSIVE: 18 lb Fentanyl Bust: Singh Released on Bail After Canada Assigns ‘Tainted’ Prosecutor Earlier this year, the RCMP near Swift Current, Saskatchewan, less than 100 miles from the U.S. border, charged two Calgarians with trafficking a massive quantity of fentanyl, enough to kill nearly four million people. The accused, Kunwardeep Singh and Swati Narula, secured bail from the provincial court nearly three weeks after their arrest. Later, Singh, a truck driver, had his bail conditions relaxed to allow him to resume driving in the Calgary area. This raised the question of how Singh, caught with such an enormous amount of fentanyl could walk away on just twenty-five thousand dollars bail. Our investigation found that the lawyer contracted by the federal government to prosecute the case, Kim Alan Stinson, had previously been suspended, sanctioned, and found guilty of two counts of conduct unbecoming a lawyer by the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Is the influence of the World Sikh Organization over the Canadian government and bureaucracy—an organization with a history mired in the largest terrorist attack ever carried out from Canadian soil against Canadians, the 1985 Air India bombings, and with proximity to international drug traffickers—emboldening Singh Organized Crime? Is Canada undermining U.S. efforts to curb ethnic-religious gangs and fentanyl trafficking by hiring questionable lawyers as prosecutors to cases of this magnitude? Follow and support @MediaBezirgan for more on-the-ground investigative reporting.

Mark Carney just shipped another two billion dollars of your money to Ukraine. On top of the $2.5 billion he announced in December. On top of the 25 billion-plus Canada has already poured in since the war started. While Canadians are getting crushed by housing costs, grocery bills, and frozen wages, Carney is playing global hero with your wallet. But here’s what the mainstream won’t say out loud: Carney spent years as Vice Chair and then Chair of Brookfield Asset Management, one of the biggest players on the planet. He still has millions tied up in the company through his blind trust. And Brookfield? They own 51% of Westinghouse Electric, the company that just signed massive deals to supply nuclear fuel to Ukraine’s reactors and build up to nine new AP1000 reactors. That’s billions in reconstruction contracts waiting to be cashed in once the dust settles. So while Carney stands there talking about “defending democracy” and “a just peace,” Canadian taxpayers are footing the bill to keep Ukraine’s lights on… so Brookfield’s nuclear goldmine doesn’t go dark. This isn’t charity. This is crony capitalism on steroids. Your tax dollars aren’t rebuilding Ukraine for Ukrainians. They’re keeping the contracts alive for Carney’s old boys’ club at Brookfield. Priorities, Canada? Fix the border. Fix the housing crisis. Fix the fentanyl deaths. Stop sending billions overseas to protect billionaire asset managers’ portfolios. Carney isn’t saving Ukraine. He’s saving his old firm’s future profits, and you’re paying the tab. Wake up, Canada. This is what elite capture looks like. What do you think, coincidence or conflict of interest? Drop it below.
