If I remember correctly, in order to quote a source in a college paper, you do have to provide proper MLA or APA citations. So no, she didn’t ‘quote’ the Bible. She said ‘the bible says’ & ‘God says’ with no citations & using her own interpretation of the bible. But sure, fire the professor that graded her paper appropriately.

The United States is not a Christian nation. In fact, Jefferson, Franklin and Madison were NOT Christian. The Treaty of Tripoli specifically states “the Government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.” The United States is legally a SECULAR Republic. Yes, lots of Christians live here, but the U.S. is welcoming to all religions and to those without religion. If everyone suddenly abandoned Christian religions it wouldn’t have an impact on the values of this nation. For some reason this is hard for some to grasp. Probably the same group who wants to ban burning the U.S. flag and other forms of free speech.
