Ken served in the Second World War. He spent years singing on cruise ships after. After recently celebrating his 99th birthday, he had a stay in hospital. His Wellbeing Support Worker Sharon popped round with a microphone and speaker to cheer him up. He hasn’t lost his touch.

For many veterans like Ken, accepting help doesn’t come easily. That’s why relationships matter. A steady presence. So when support is needed, there’s someone who can help open doors the right support. Watch for a glimpse into that work, told by Community Support Worker David.

Jack always wanted his grandad Terry - who served in the Royal Green Jackets for 22 years - to see him in uniform. Sadly, he lost his sight before that day came. Now Jack’s running a marathon to help the charity that gave his grandad his life back. 👉 ow.ly/wwEx50Yi8kV
