Never pick Wisconsin in the Touranment. They lost to High Point this year, lost second round as a 3 seed last year, and lost to James Madison 2 years ago. High Point is legit more than ever and I think they’ll be if aren’t already consider them the face of mid major basketball.

Predicted this one before the season started. Very tuff matchup for them playing Texas and not a smaller school. I don’t even know if I can call this a upset but considering the money BYU has it will be. Very hard to win games in March.

@BSUTravis Fair point it is a little early. It was hard to rate the coaches that haven’t coached at the D1 level yet. This honestly doesn’t really mean that much and what I think of each coach.

High Point pulls off the first upset of the Touranment. Not an easy thing to do with all the NIL money and transfer portal. High Point can be the next Gonzaga of the east coast with the resources they have.

8) Villanova vs 9) Utah State: This is one of the best first round matchups and toughest games to pick. I have Villanova in this one because I believe in Willard and think the Big East is better than the MWC. Losing Matt Hodge will the give Utah State a chance.

4) Arkansas vs 13) Hawaii: I have Arkansas. Hawaii is one of my favorite teams in the country because of their unique defense. They don’t help on defenses and make you score 1 on 1. This might work on some teams but it won’t against Arkansas who are too talented.

5) Wisconsin vs 12) High Point: I have Wisconsin. I can see a lot of people picking High Point in this one but the way the badgers been playing is very good. High Point is very good and I can defintely see them winning. If you want to pick a less chalky bracket pick them to win.

I don’t see there being a 13 seed or higher winning a game. I hope I’m wrong and I love upsets but I think it will be chalky like last year. Although I think in the later rounds it will be less chalky and we won’t see 4 one seeds in the final 4.

I can see either Florida or Arizona going down in the sweet 16. Florida could get Vanderbilt who just killed them, and Arizona could get Arkansas who is hot and talented.

They will have to find an answer to Christian Anderson but if they can stop him Tech is in trouble. Akron 29-5 with great returner players. They deserve more attention but are underrated because Miami Ohio was the talk of the MAC. Texas Tech has also been struggling as of lately.

One upset pick that I’m picking in my bracket is Akron over Texas Tech. The Zips may be the most underrated mid Major in the Country. They’re players have experience in playing in the Touranment and know what to expect. Also JT Toppin being out will hurt them a lot.

2) Connecticut vs 15) Furman: I’m going to pick UConn in this one as I think it’s to hard of game for Furman. Uconn is a little inconsistent but they have one of the best coaches in the game. Don’t sleep on the huskies.

7) UCLA vs 10) UCF In going to pick the more talented team and pick UCLA for this one. UCF surprised me this season and they could continue to surprise but UCLA has Donovan Dent. It does depend if Dent is healthy. Should be a close game.
