Yesterday’s launch of an Iranian intermediate-range ballistic missile on Diego Garcia means that Iran likely has IRBMs with a minimum range of 4000 km. It means that the only 3 European countries out of range of Iranian ballistic missiles are Iceland, Ireland and Portugal

The missiles didn’t hit — but the key point is the distance: about 4,000 km from Iran. Until now, Iran’s missile range was believed to be around 2,000 km. Recent events suggest it could be much longer. According to Defense Express, Iran can potentially reach nearly all of Europe — with Portugal as the only exception.
