Earlier today, in collaboration with the @RwandaBankers, we convened the Q1 2026 ESG Community of Practice, bringing together stakeholders from FIs, Central Bank, GiZ, and IFC to reflect on progress and advance ESG integration across Rwanda’s banking sector. Discussions highlighted the shift from compliance to embedding ESG in risk management, products & reporting, positioning it as a key driver of sustainable growth. Challenges like data gaps & capacity needs were addressed, while reinforcing collaboration across the ecosystem.
