It's been a while .. so here is an EVENING dome garden update!!! I hope you check out the blog post featuring catcus, hot peppers and even my puppy! VLOG LINK: brenhaas.com/december-updat…
Zantedeschia aethiopica ‘Glencoe’ #inmygardennow
Exceptional floriferous, hardier and strong growing form. To quote @PanGlobalPlants it’s “A great cut flower. Easy in sun or semi shade, wet or dry, even in water.”
Bowl of Beauty' peony blooming in my morning to early afternoon sun garden. I’ve had this one for well over 20 years. It’s got a nice floral sweet scent. #gardening
Beans have their own little acre! Sixteen hills of pole beans, which if they do as well as they did last year, will give us several meals of fresh green beans.
Speaking of veggie garden... I am just getting my beans and corn planted. I am hardiness 5b so not behind (YET). Besides we had late JULY weather a few days ago and I am thankful I didn't have too much out in the garden yet. WE GOT THIS.. maybe autumn will be mild and longer harvest?!
@BrenHaas I hope you get a good rain too. I've looked back at past photos, and my veggie garden was so much farther along on this date than what mine is this year.
Good Morning World!
A rainy day here in the hills!🌧️
Badly needed moisture. I'm starting to see huge cracks in the soil.
A coolish 61℉ this morning and not predicted to get much warmer during the day.
Garden is mostly in...just needs a few details wrapped up.
Coffee time!
@Vero2oo7 Thanks for sharing this... so true! I use to be addicted to watching the numbers and trying to figure out a strategy to get more engagement. Now I just enjoy life - share with I hope will be a positive impact on others.
There are two types of people on 𝕏.
The first type posts whatever they genuinely think.
No strategy. No obsession with engagement. No panic when the reach drops. They just show up as themselves.
The second type studies the algorithm like it’s a full-time job.
Every post is optimized for likes, replies, reposts, and validation.
And honestly?
The first type usually seems happier.
Because once you stop chasing numbers, you start enjoying the app again.
That’s real freedom.
Another short video I uploaded... its easy to post one and share. (grin) Gotta love the columbine that came up from seed - petite little beauty behind the dome enjoying afternoon shade. youtube.com/shorts/FroxScq…#gardening
@Vero2oo7 Thank goodness... we got a little but not enough for new trees and perennials I've been working on in the garden. More in the forecast for us up north.
Miss Kim Lilac in Bloom last night in my garden… so fragrant and peaceful to enjoy. Mine is about 5 feet tall after planting in 2019.
