@Drew5571 So nice of both Conan and Ike. Love both those hilarious gentlemen.

@SouthportCor @Bolgernow This world was obviously better with Pete Kastanes in it. Rest in Peace, sir.

Through his posts, Kastanes helped Chicagoans relive their childhoods — sharing memories of places like Kiddie Land and Maxwell Street. His page became a gathering place, where people swapped stories and memories.

It's songs about New York City for the @WFUV Question of the Day. Songs that mention the New York music scene or performing in the Big Apple get top billing.

My very messy old "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" office in 30 Rock years ago. I'm pretty sure there's a desk somewhere under all that crap. #ThrowbackThursday

@DailyMail How very tragic that it didn't happen years ago.

@skyler_higley Chicago is the greatest city on Earth. Fight me, haters. I can’t fight but I’m willing to learn.

Posted this pic having drank on a rooftop and several replies are conservatives saying “it’s a shithole dem commie blah blah blah” brother look at what you’re doing and look at what I’m doing. You’re supposed to be chilling and enjoying your life.

@TheGrindstone3 Nice job! McMurtry sure can spin a whole novel into a song, can’t he?

@BrianStack153 I need to listen again to his older stuff. The last 2 were so damn good - horses and hounds and black dog and wandering boy. It was cool I was at the Isbell show he references in sailing away. This is another fave on black dog…youtu.be/-26PCD0-0mc?si…

@MarkLeo81 @YouTube As a massive REM fan, I’m sorry to say I only saw them once in concert, back in ‘85 at Indiana University, but it’s one of my all-time favorite live music experiences. I did also see them perform live on “Late Night with Conan” though which was also unforgettable.

R.E.M., “Seven Chinese Brothers”, live on TV in ‘84. Just the best, that’s all. Michael Stipe is on “Colbert” tonight by the way. youtu.be/uBBeqJZ80F8?si… via @YouTube

There are some things you shouldn't do on #ArborDay. Requesting a song about trees is not among them.

@BrianStack153 I was an intern in 2005 and you were always happy to chat whenever I’d pop in to drop something off or collect a printed dinner menu. Always appreciated it
