@KRenaeP Balance is not real. Think of it like a juggling act. There will be times that you will need to devote more time to your career (like conferences, report cards, etc.) and there will be times when your family needs you most. You have to learn to be proactive and shift your focus.

I love a good challenge at the beginning of the year! Give students a set of cups to create various patterns by stacking using criteria: no one can touch the cups and everyone must work together. Hands down a favorite and a MUST this school year. 👏🏼

My son let me in on his hack for writing first drafts: Change the font color to white and just start typing. Later, change the font back to black to see how much you've written and then revise as needed. I LOVE his trick to keep writing momentum high! #TeachWrite
