6/ The programs that are dangerous in February aren't the ones with the best portal class. They're the ones who treated May like the starting gun it is. Is your program one of them?

5/ Proactive culture installation looks like this: Define the standard before the pressure arrives. Test your veterans' buy-in before newcomers are watching. Stress-test staff alignment before a bad week exposes it. Summer is when that work happens.

3/ Here's the test: When something goes wrong at 11pm on a road trip — a conflict, a hard decision with no playbook — what happens? Does your program handle it or does it fracture? That answer was set in May and June. Not in the moment.

2/ Culture is what your veterans do with your newcomers when no coach is watching. It's the standard they either hold — or quietly abandon. You don't control that in October. You build it now, when there's still time before pressure tests it.

Friday question to take into your weekend: Where will you be five years from now? That's being decided by your decision speed right now. Fast decisions despite discomfort? Or slow decisions waiting for comfort? Different speeds. Different destinations.

TIME PASSES AT THE SAME SPEED FOR EVERYONE: The only variable you control is how fast you make the decisions that change your trajectory. Reach out to that AD today or wait another month? Make that career move now or wait for better timing? Decision speed compounds.

Friday reality check: The difference between coaches at 30 and coaches at 40 still waiting for their break isn't talent. It's decision speed. Ten years. Same career length. Completely different outcomes. Here's what happened: 🧵

Thursday question: Look at your choices this week. Were they comfortable or uncomfortable? If comfortable, you're not committed to your 10X Day. You're committed to comfort. Commitment to 10X = choosing discomfort repeatedly. Which are you choosing?

YOU CAN'T HAVE BOTH: Comfort in current role AND progress toward 10X Day. Pick one. Stay comfortable → stay where you are. Choose discomfort → move toward 10X. Most coaches want 10X but aren't willing to be uncomfortable enough to reach it. That's the gap.
