“When morning came, there was Leah! So Jacob said to Laban, ‘What is this you have done to me? I served you for Rachel, didn’t I? Why have you deceived me?’”
Genesis 29:25 NIV
Instead of quitting in anger and disappointment after seven long years of hard work—only to wake up to the wrong woman—Jacob kept going. He went back to work, trusted God, and served another seven years for Rachel.
Time is God’s voice.
The small decisions we make today, compounded in obedience to Him, will create a future in seven years’ time that we won’t even recognise. That’s why it’s so important to be grateful right now for every blessing we already have—whether it came from past faithful choices or simply from God’s mercy—so we can worship Him with open hearts.
The hope is to keep believing even when we can’t see the full picture. Momentary pleasures might look appealing, but they can blind us to the greater story God is writing. Like Jesus, we’re called to sacrifice in the present for the joy of seeing heaven come to earth.
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”
Jeremiah 17:7
Keep going. The morning after the hardest nights often holds the beginning of the promise.

““Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?””
Genesis 25:32 NIV
In this chapter the older brother sold his birth right to his younger brother for a bowl of soup because he was hungry…
Fear of death will weaken our faith in God.
Through fear we try to control things our own way and operating out of fear will only produce dead fruit.
Even when faced with death we must realise that Gods love for us will never lead us astray and having faith in God, LIFE will be produced for ETERNITY.
Controlling the actions through the hunger for what ever we crave is Godly and a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
If Esau did not sell his birth right to Jacob, all the stars in the sky would have been his lineage and not the one he sold it all too.

“Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Matthew 21:21-22 NIV
To have unwavering faith can sometimes feel very hard.
What we want now may be completely opposite of the decisions we need to make in order to walk down the path we need to take to honour God.
This is where by being in his word we allow his word to be in us to receive counsel along the way… To simply pray is to have child like faith which in turn will move mountains or “unmovable” obstacles.
To speak to someone we have not physically seen but is more real than the words in this devotion.
To ask for provision, guidance, resources, understanding, clarity and to give thanks. To put all of our faith in God and to pray without ceasing is to take control of our own lives by leaving God in control.
Pick up and read, go, speak and start walking in the name of Jesus.

“‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’”
Matthew 20:12 NIV
The early workers were outraged.
They had labored through the scorching heat all day, yet those who arrived at the very last hour received the same full day’s wage.
What they saw as unfair, the landowner saw as generous.
This is the quiet battle many of us face: the temptation to compare.
When others receive blessings, opportunities, or breakthroughs that seem greater than ours — especially when we feel we’ve worked harder or waited longer — envy can creep in.
But Jesus invites us into something far better.
Instead of resentment, we are called to joy. When someone else is blessed, we can celebrate it as fresh evidence of God’s overflowing mercy.
None of us deserve the work He gives us, let alone the blessings that flow from it. We are all latecomers in His kingdom, saved and sustained by grace alone.
In the end, we are one family under the same generous Master.
His love is not measured by the hours we’ve logged or the burdens we’ve carried.
It is equal, full, and freely given to every one of His children — whether we came at dawn or at dusk.

Waiting on God to move in my life is very hard.
But i’ve discovered that what’s harder is wishing that I had waited.
It’s harder waking up to the decisions I made while deciding not to wait, dealing with the consequences.
God remind me daily, that through the struggle you are literally right there guiding me to your greatness.
Thank you Jesus.

The world has turned its back from God but i’d rather influence the 3 that are yours for you Lord then to allow the enemy to narrate my social influence for his validation.
God your validation is the only one I care about.
I pray these 3 stay closer to your words than mine ❤️

Contrary to popular belief, God does not control everything.
He’s in control yes, He doesn’t take control.
He gives us choice.
And guess what?
You can take control.
If your questions aren’t being answered try to change the question.
Moses asked “what if they?”
God replied “What is that in your hand”
Your questions direct the integrity of your thoughts.
Control the focus of your thoughts and priorities them with what God has given you.
Example…
“God why haven’t you given me a wife yet?”
change it to
“God what can I do to attract the Godly woman that you desire for me to be with?”
Or
“God how can I shape my life to mirror what it is I seek from a Godly woman?”
Or
“God what type of actions would a Godly husband take to be the man the wife you have for me wants?”
All of a sudden, now we are taking control by allowing God to be in control.

Don’t allow the wilderness to destroy you, let it crown you.
Matthew 4:11—“Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.”
After forty days of nothing—hunger, isolation, every trick in the book—Satan bails, and heaven shows up. No destruction, just divine backup. Jesus doesn’t just survive; He gets honoured and strengthened.

Embracing the promise does not mean you will not make mistakes in the process, it’s about continuing to embrace that promise even after YOUR plan didn’t work out the way you wanted it to and putting your trust back in God to fulfil that promise that you decide to continue embracing ❤️
God bless you all ❤️
