I hear you, from a vacation standpoint I’m actually in Mexico right now haha. Self preservation is not inherently bad I agree, I more so mean as it pertains to taking advantage of others. I guess it’s always been that way, genghis khan taking over the world, napoleon on his mission, Alexander the Great doing the same— obviously those are all more archaic examples, but there was a bit more clarity on what was happening (at least I would assume how can we ever know) it was war, it was I want what you have and we can fight over it. Was that a great situation either? No, but just something I thought id note, it’s always been this way but it’s evolved, and I can acknowledge that. You say life is simpler than we make it out to to be, but that is purely focusing on your own life (if this comes off as combatitve, I don’t mean for it to be that way) if you take a step back and look at what is happening to the majority of individuals it’s not that simple, and that is where I think we have a disconnect—- is self preservation virtuous if it is destructive for other individuals? We can reference Darwin here and say survival of the fittest, but all that happens with humanity is individuals becoming more and more ruthless and conceited. If we are in a place of self preservation constantly, and we don’t think about the less fortunate, and that’s what’s being instilled in our kids and our kids kids then what? we get to a point eventually where every single person is against each other? Do we get to a point where even families are against each other?

Call me stubborn but I don’t care what people say or think about things. I think the answer is what works best for you. The world has changed and will continue to change regardless of what we think. There is still honor and value in following your own code, reaching for better and helping others. Self preservation is not a bad thing and it doesn’t make us cold for doing so if it means doing whats right. It may sound corny but surrounding yourself with the right people and having the right mindset while walking your own path is better than most people will ever understand. Life is much simpler than most of us make it, we just don’t take the time to appreciate the simpler things in life and are too distracted and overwhelmed. Maybe you need to unplug yourself and take a vaca to rebalance. It ain’t easy but nobody said it would be.

The curse of knowledge.
Once you understand how the world works, how individuals are, how parasitic we as a species are—you no longer want to partake.
You have 2 options, suffer daily and know the truth—or join the pack of cold conceited self preserving individuals.
It’s tough, it is a very very very difficult concept that most will never address; men will steal from other men and not think twice—as they want to garner more resources for themselves and for their family, but what about the other man’s family? What about the other man’s child? The benefit that you get from stealing from him is worth denying a literal child more comfort and better opportunities? The game we are in; wether it be crypto, traditional finance, real estate, service industries—people will not hesitate twice to usurp from others, it doesn’t even have to be physically taking from them—it can be defaming someone to your superiors to make yourself look better; why? If your competition looks worse, you look better, you have better odds of being put in an advantageous position to gather resources.
It may not even be a situation where you are doing this to support a family of your own, it might just be wanting more money for your own comfort- or to attract more women, and you will stop at nothing to do that even if once again it means actively making someone else’s life more difficult
Say that it is cope, say that it is beta—but this is real. Look at everything that is currently being propagated to our society. The obvious ones, the gambling, the “guru” pipedreams—shit we are even at the point where men are helping women promote selling their bodies. That’s what we’ve came to, we have became a society dominated by manipulation and deceit, so much so that we’ve reached a stage where beautiful beautiful godly creations of women are degrading themselves and men are complicit. This is not specific to online industries as I said, it’s everywhere—and it’s sad. I’m not being performative here, I don’t know if anyone is going to read this; but once you really open your mind up to the current state of society it becomes very very difficult to navigate. And as I write this I think to myself, “I get it” as a man you want the hot wife, you want the big house, you want the comfort. It just sucks that we’ve gotten to the point that we are at. I blame absolutely nobody for doing anything that may be “morally questionable” as it has become increasingly difficult to get to that dream life without stepping on others in the process. Like I said, most people probably won’t read this; and there is pretty much nothing that can be done to remedy the situation at this point, but today I felt like sharing my thoughts. Are they correct? Fuck if I know, but at least the thoughts are my own for once. If any of this resonated with you, share your thoughts. I’m assuming we’ll get hit with some “cope bro, dog eat dog world” but for those that are with me, just go help someone today. Help a fucking stranger, talk to a random—do what you can to make the world a better place, the system will never change, but you would be surprised how big of an impact a small act of kindness can have on an individual, it doesn’t have to be monetary it can be as simple as complementing someone’s damn shirt—even if you don’t like them! Rant wrapped up here, but I told myself I am going to try and start being a positive influence on the world, if you sit here and think “Who is this asshole yapping” that’s your prerogative, I would willingly take negativity from millions of people if I knew I could even impact one other individual that is struggling.

Dom. Appreciate this message more than you know. I know how hard stuff is, truly I do— I may not know your struggles but I know my own, and I know how it feels to have the weight of the world on your shoulders, this life isn’t easy— and some may say “it could be worse” and yes that may be objectively true, but you can’t compare individuals struggles. If you ever question if there’s still good out there, shoot me a text and we will chop it up. Keep the faith brother, keep the faith. Always remember, the path to hell feels like heaven, the path to heaven feels like hell. It is cliche, but we need tough times—because if we don’t have them how will we ever learn? And how will we ever help others?

You're right not many would read this . But these posts are worth it.
I am sure you would read this.
I am myself going through one of the toughest times ever but I haven't stopped being kind. Infact my rock bottom has taught me to see how people struggle for basic necessities. And trust me my primary goals are not mansions and cars for now. If those comes it comes. But its to impact the world and people around me in a positive way.
My goal to get rich is I could just go around on a kindness mission. I do it now as well. But I believe one day I would be able to do it on a larger scale. Like a few videos or yours I have watched. Like MDmotivator and Jimmy darts.
I did some kindness videos too last year which I recorded to inspire myself and others.
