Hey, Seattle! Get hyped because Blue Thunder is heading your way. Friday, Sept. 1st, before the #BoiseState vs. Washington game, come see the band in action during an open exhibition at Bellevue High School from 6:30-8:30pm. This special rehearsal is free and open to the public!

Meet Bill! He is our fearless Assistant Director of Athletic Bands and Boise State Assistant Professor of Tuba. Outside of music Dr. Waterman and his family enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, attending sporting events and grilling. #BoiseState #BlueThunderMarchingBand

Meet Kramer! He is a member of our Music Staff and #BoiseState Assistant Professor in Percussion and Music Technology. He holds degrees from Yale University, the Peabody Conservatory and Michigan State University and is passionate about educating aspiring percussionists.

Meet Stephen! A member of our fabulous staff, Stephen's many skills benefit Blue Thunder in a myriad of ways and help us keep the hype and energy flowing. He graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and loves gardening, video games and videography in his free time. #BoiseState

Meet Preston! He is a Trumpet Section Leader and Music Education major. He loves stories of all kinds (video games, books, movies, TV, you name it) and doing things with friends. #BoiseState #BlueThunderMarchingBand

Meet Delaney! She is an Alto Sax Section Leader, and this is her fourth year in BTMB. Delaney is currently studying chemistry with a dual emphasis in biochemistry and forensics. Delaney also plays piano and loves to read, go out with friends and spend time outdoors. #BoiseState

Meet Taylor! He is one of our super Drumline: Snare Section Leaders. This will be Taylor's third year as a member of Blue Thunder and his junior year at Boise State, working towards a degree in Political Science. #BoiseState #BlueThunderMarchingBand

Meet Colton! He is a Drumline Section Leader and a 3rd-year Biology major with a passion for wildlife. He also loves skiing, producing music and collecting and spinning records. #BoiseState #BlueThunderMarchingBand

Meet Ben! He is an Alto Sax Section Leader and a Health Studies major. When not studying and prepping for med school Ben likes mountain biking, skiing and enjoying the great outdoors. #BoiseState #BlueThunderMarchingBand

Meet Staci! She is a Color Guard Section Leader and an Elementary Education major. This is Staci's 4th year as a BTMB member and her 8th year of color guard. While she clearly loves color guard, the top spot for her fave thing in the world belongs to her dog, Dixie. #BoiseState

Meet Zach! He is a Trumpet Section Leader and a Communications and Media Arts major. While his ultimate goal is to be a sports broadcaster, Zach also enjoys indulging in anything Marvel, going to the rec center and spending quality time with those he cares about. #BoiseState

Meet Zach! He's back this year as another of our awesome Trombone Section Leaders. In his free time, Zach loves hiking, camping and chef'ing it up in the kitchen. This includes fishing and catching dinner on the river! #BoiseState #BlueThunderMarchingBand

Meet Nathaniel! He is a Trombone Section Leader as well as a Music Performance major. He's also a big Trail Blazers fan and martial artist who plans on attending law school after graduating from Boise State! #BlueThunderMarchingBand #BoiseState

Meet Dr. Joe Tornello! This will be his 13th year at Boise State with Blue Thunder. He is also the Director of the Boise State All-Campus Concert Band. Outside his campus commitments, Dr. Tornello enjoys spending quality time with his wife, 3 girls and 2 giant dogs. #BoiseState

Meet Nick — another of our talented Graduate Assistants! He is in his second year pursuing his Masters in Trumpet Performance. When not practicing or studying for classes, he enjoys playing some video games and painting. #BoiseState

Meet Alan — one of our awesome Graduate Assistants! Alan has taught in Hawaii for the past decade and is currently finishing his master's degree in Percussion Performance. He also enjoys playing video games, bowling and watching movies. #BoiseState
