I let my emotions get the best of me earlier, venting your frustration and letting negative thoughts go is healthy but no need to pour some fuel on the fire. Now, let’s try to stay positive. Yes, Chainsaw messed up, but we have to move past that and focus on being productive. Matt Furie has serious cultural weight behind him. His name alone could support a billion dollar market if handled correctly. Artists, politicians, Tesla.. even Bitcoin have bounced back from worse. We are all trying to seek solutions, even exploring legal, liability, and insurance angles.. which are worth investigating, But at the end of the day, only Matt can truly lead the fix. Other paths might feel productive but ultimately won’t restore real confidence and significant liquidity without his involvement or blessing. We should assume that we do not have full picture, It's likely safe to assume that Matt is a stand-up guy in the middle of a tough situation. This mess isn't his fault, it's CHAIN/SAW's. The buck stops here, period. Maybe, after losing $3m+ of savings during the hack, they don't have money to pay employees anymore, including themselves. It's hard to say when we have no communication. But until we are out of options our goal is to just get things back to how they're supposed to be, it's that simple. We need the blessing of the team in order to do this right & then we can ensure the team continues getting royalties. We remove the invalid NFTs, reissue all of the contracts, and we're back to business as usual, possibly all within a days work. We remain optimistic for a positive solution that benefits everyone. I will attempt to make friendly contact and share my proposal. I will be patient & trust the process until we get close to the statute of limitations, which means I will be forced to act before the end of the year, then I hope they have corporate insurance or it will become an expensive clusterfuck. We don't want a bootleg collection, it must be officially endorsed or we're back to litigation being the only path forward, and nobody wants the situation to get worse while still being lose-lose, it's already that way right now. We have to turn this into a win-win situation somehow. While we always have the option to do a community takeover, it should be the last resort after attempting peaceful arbitration outside of the court.
