Schools remaining to be commissioned: BRE, LKM, HES, PRM, BVN, BVW, BVH and BVNW. These will be done by May 15th.

All Punchlist items to be completed before end of May. Last pay voucher to be processed in June.

Will order 16 Smart Boards for Morse Elementary. Another 20+ for Stillwell Elementary.

Ordering four Panasonic 50" Flat Screens for Oxford, BVNW and BVH. This is lieu of projectors due to environmental issues.

Inspected Liberty View Elementary last night... the wiring was excellent and for the most part, the equipment was neatly installed.

However, the paint and patching was great where we took out the TV's but in the area of VGA and 3.5 audio jacks, it could have been better.

Liberty View passed commissioning but the punch list must be completed before the end of next week.

We are scheduled to inspect Morse Elementary on Monday.

Ordering a Smart Board replacement for a defective unit at Liberty View. Pat Upton from KCAV is scrambling for us.

Comment about Pat, he has been there for me throughout the project. KCAV should feel lucky to have him.

Comments about Jim LeClair at CCC. He turned the project around for us. Before he arrived, CCC could not manage their techs well.

Jim was able to get the techs working as a team and has provided BVSD some of the best AV installs that I have ever seen. good job Jim!

Comments about Randy Adler of KCAV, he too has worked hard behind the scenes to get our equipment here on time. Superb job Randy!

Met with Mitch Truesdale of VBrick and Janice Bartels of SKC. They spoke about IPTV systems and applications. Superb job in presenting!

I am really glad to be working again with SKC. Janice has been a friend for many years and I respect her technical knowledge and abilities.

I hope to move the IPTV initiative forward over the next 3-6 months. We certainly have applications for the technology here at Blue Valley.

Ordering a Smart Board today to replace a 680 unit that was defective. Working with the local rep to get the unit replaced which takes time.

Inspection at Morse Elementary last night went very well. The wiring above the ceiling was superb. Only the VGA jacks needed attention.

Will plan to re-inspect Blue Valley Middle School this evening. I hope the inspection goes better than previous ones.

Touring schools to visit music rooms to determine AV needs. We are planning to put in Smart Boards in each Elementary School Music Room.
