If we start the protests on Tuesday, there's no retreating until the goal is achieved. We must fix our health system, our national energy, security and economy.

Ruto is galvanising the NILOTES to vote as a block for him, but he is bitter with the United opposition mobilising the BANTU block.

When kikuyu say betrayal is never forgiven, they mean it. Each of you should ask the story of a small village between Kambaa and Githirioni called 'Kwa Luka' in Lari. An informer during the emergency was beheaded at dawn and the homestead burnt to ashes.

The same people who betrayed their kinsmen during colonisation are doing it again in 2026. The likes of ichungwa need to read what happened to kwa Luka in Kambaa Lari.

The patterns you're seeing in today's politics are the same deployed during colonisation. The same tribes collaborating with the oppressors did the same in 1952. Unless those determined don't give up, betrayers will always be there.

COMMUNICATION TUTORIAL THAT MANY PEOPLE FORGET 1. Talking to Mom: Use your heart, not a high tone. Sometimes she just needs to be heard, not debated. 2. Talking to Dad: Speak with respect. He rarely complains, but his exhaustion is real. 3. Talking to Your Partner: Be honest, not to win an argument. Love doesn’t need ego; it needs direction. 4. Talking to Siblings: Be sincere, without comparison. Their life is not a mirror to measure yours. 5. Talking to Young Children: Speak with enthusiasm. They believe every word you say. 6. Talking to Friends: Stay relaxed, but polite. Not every joke is funny to everyone. 7. Talking to God: Be completely honest. Sometimes the best prayer isn’t beautiful words, but honest tears.

Until you learn contentment, you can’t truly be in love or stay committed. There will always be someone who seems more attractive, wealthier, more exciting, or easier to be with than your partner. But if you’re constantly chasing “better,” you’ll never appreciate what you already have. A lack of contentment will always leave you looking elsewhere.

The discipline is hidden in the word "kùgeria". E.g Nokùgeria mani.
DICKSON MAGECHA@Dicksonmagecha

Regarding your Luo friend’s take on “working twice as hard” to match the Mlima level — fair question, but the real difference isn’t some invisible 50% head start. Mlima’s actual “trick” is brutally simple: 'delayed gratification on steroids'. A single shilling you save and invest aggressively while you’re young compounds at roughly 25× every 10 years in the kind of high-return vehicles many in Central Kenya have mastered (land, chamas, small businesses, and smart equity plays). - Hit KSh 100k investable capital by 25? - With ruthless discipline, it becomes KSh 2.5 million by 35. - Keep the pedal down and it hits KSh 62.5 million by 45. That math is real. But the lifestyle required to pull it off is not glamorous. It means living *way* below your income bracket for decades — driving an old car while your peers flex, renting modest while others buy flashy plots, skipping the endless rounds and trips — so the bulk of your capital stays in the game. That level of self-denial and consistency is rare anywhere, not just in Kenya. And even with the discipline dialed in, success still needs three more ingredients: 1. Luck (good health, no major family emergencies, right timing on the economy). 2. Networks — the chamas, the WhatsApp investment groups, the “I know a guy” connections that open doors fast. 3. The right partner. Marry (or partner with) someone who buys into the long game instead of someone who wants to spend every extra shilling today, and you literally double your firepower. So yes, some structural advantages exist around Mt Kenya — proximity to Nairobi, cash-crop history, land that has appreciated for generations. But the real multiplier isn’t geography. It’s the cultural muscle memory of 'save first, compound relentlessly, live lean. That’s not tribal magic. It’s just compound interest wearing a kanzu of sacrifice. Respect to anyone, from any region, who’s willing to pay that price.

Dear @TheODMparty , this is the time to showcase your mettle. When the impeachment motion of anakonda is tabled, side with the people and send him home. This will revive your chances of re-election and position in this country. #Nikokadi

Americans think people are fools, they want to nuke Iran, and since they must have a reason for that, they've 'stolen' their own drone. They will use it to bomb their own people in the name of Iran.

Why would someone blackmail a whole tribe with war and displacement if they fail to support them?

In Kenya, only one tribe is prohibited to support one of their own. If they do, it's tribalism but if they support another it's royalty. Being Kikuyu is difficult.
