Now the little pinks in China are not happy with the role Jin Chou — they’re saying it’s Chin Chou — played by actress Helen J Shen in The Devil Wears Prada 2. They claim Chin Chou is insulting — it’s 辱华 — cuz it sounds like Ching Chong, which is racist and derogatory. The little pinks also complain that the role as seen in the movie is a stereotypical image of a Chinese woman showing Asians in a bad light. They’re calling for a boycott of the movie. How will 20th Century Studios handle this? view.inews.qq.com/k/20260418A03D… sina.cn/news/detail/52…

Apr 21: 🇨🇳 national Qilin Wu pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of taking photographs of a vital military installation and military equipment without authorization. On Dec 2, 2025, the Whiteman Air Force Base Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) investigated a report of a suspicious minivan near the perimeter of the military installation. Air Force patrolmen were dispatched to the area to investigate, and encountered Wu, who stated that he was there to observe the B-2 Spirit aircraft. The patrolmen informed Wu that he was not permitted to take photographs or make video recordings of the military installation. AFOSI was notified the following day that the same minivan was identified at a perimeter fence of Whiteman Air Force Base. Whiteman Air Force agents went to the area to investigate and again contacted Wu. Wu admitted to taking videos of the B-2 Spirit aircraft and numerous photographs of Whiteman’s perimeter fencing, a gate, and military equipment. Wu showed investigators his phone, including images of Whiteman Air Force Base and military equipment that Wu had recorded. In total, investigators observed 18 images and videos that Wu admitted he had taken of the installation and of military equipment. Wu also admitted to photographing another US Air Force base and its military aircraft. Wu is a Chinese national who illegally entered the US on June 22, 2023, near Nogales, Az. At that time, Wu was arrested by immigration authorities for illegally being present in the US. Due to a lack of detention space, Wu was released on his own recognizance to await immigration removal proceedings originally scheduled for Feb 9, 2027. On Dec 3, 2025, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) re-arrested Wu. Under federal statutes, Wu is subject to a sentence of up to one year in federal prison. justice.gov/usao-wdmo/pr/c…

🚨 a criminal complaint has been filed against Qilin Wu, a 🇨🇳 national who illegally entered the US on June 22, 2023. The complaint charges Wu with one count of taking photographs of a vital military installation — Whiteman AFB, the base for all 19 operational B-2 Spirit nuclear-capable stealth bombers — and military equipment without authorization, in violation of US law. On Dec 2, 2025, the Whiteman Air Force Base Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) investigated a report of a suspicious minivan bearing a Massachusetts license plate near the perimeter of the military installation.  Air Force patrolmen were dispatched to the area to investigate, and encountered Wu, who stated that he was there to observe the B-2 Spirit aircraft. The patrolmen informed Wu that he was not permitted to take photographs or make video recordings of the military installation. The following day, AFOSI was notified that the same minivan was again identified at a perimeter fence of Whiteman Air Force Base.  AFOSI agents went to the area to investigate and again made contact with Wu. Wu also admitted to having photographed another US Air Force base and its military aircraft as well. Wu is a Chinese national who illegally entered the US on June 22, 2023, near Nogales, Arizona. If convicted of violating 18 U.S.C. § 795, Wu would be subject to a sentence of up to one year in federal prison. The maximum statutory sentence is prescribed by Congress and is provided here for informational purposes; any sentence would be determined by the court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors. justice.gov/usao-wdmo/pr/c…

The Chinese woman is the problem. Not AirAsia. She’s talking loud on her phone when the flight was about to take off. That’s a no-no. A senior flight attendant who can speak Mandarin actually spoke to her but she’s extremely rude and refused to cooperate. And she claimed she’s a China Southern Airlines flight attendant. But she can’t speak English? Remember, English is the universally accepted language on international flights. Chinese is not. AirAsia flight attendants have been nice and polite all along. If you don’t understand this then it’s your problem. Enough said. Don’t reply.

“讲中文‼️” (speak Chinese‼️) The 🇨🇳 woman demanded a non-Chinese flight attendant speak Chinese (Mandarin) on AirAsia’s D7809 Chongqing to Kuala Lumpur flight on Apr 22 when the flight attendant politely asked her to lower her voice cuz she’s talking too loud on the phone after boarding (upper videos)… In the end the 🇨🇳 woman was removed from the flight by airport police (lower left video)… The flight attendant explained what happened in an Instagram story…

@Byron_Wan Although I don't support her behaviors, Air Asia Airlines staff are openly racist against Chinese. They should have deployed Chinese-speaking crew members on board this flight just in case this situation happens. Don't fly with Air Asia Airlines.

“我是 China‼️” (I am China‼️) Apr 22: another Chinese passenger making a scene on an international flight and causing a significant delay… this took place on the AirAsia D7809 Chongqing to Kuala Lumpur flight after boarding but before takeoff (scheduled for 2am) in Chongqing. Long story short, the passenger, a Chinese woman who claimed she’s a flight attendant of China Southern Airlines, complained that an AirAsia flight attendant, presumably non-Chinese, told her in English not to talk on her phone and accused the flight attendant of 狂飙英语. She ranted on and on, questioning why, as someone working on an international flight, the flight attendant couldn’t speak Chinese (Mandarin)… airport police were called in… It’s unclear how things ended; anyway the flight finally took off at 3:22am.
