This doesn't happen to incumbent Senators. Not very often, at least. It's an event that happens like once every 15 years.
And it most certainly doesn't happen in a landslide victory for the challenger.... not since Dick Luger was sidelined in 2012 (by 22 pts).
BTW, if you forgot, this runoff happened after neither of them cleared 50% 21 days ago, with Cornyn slightly edging him out.
What was the difference?

🚨 Canadian County, OK: Illegal alien Michael Salomon Rosario-Cruz has been arrested for four counts of Murder and firearms charges after a wrong-way head-on crash.
The victims were identified as Kiercey Hickson, Quincy Jones, Haliegh Salazar, and Brad Palmer.
Rosario-Cruz is accused of driving while under the influence and possession a firearm with altered ID.

Tonight, ICE law enforcement officers were assaulted by anti-ICE rioters who sprayed law enforcement with an unknown chemical substance.
Two individuals were arrested for assaulting, resisting, and impeding federal officers.
Assaulting and obstructing ICE law enforcement is a crime and felony.
Anyone who assaults law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
