Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.

So let me get this straight…
Vinegar on Ilhan Omar = serious.
Bullets around President Trump = staged.
That’s really the double standard the Left expects us to accept.
Ilhan Omar gets sprayed with vinegar, and suddenly nobody is allowed to question it.
But President Trump gets shot at in Butler, someone opens fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and someone allegedly tries to shoot him at his golf course — and the same people scream “staged”?
They demand sympathy for their side while mocking, downplaying, and conspiracy-theorizing every threat against Trump.
That tells you everything.
