Yesterday I met a man from Germany. He is 83 y/o & lost his wife 4 years ago. He has spent the last two weeks driving from Germany around all the places he and his wife visited when last in #Scotland, 20 years ago. They visited the same house behind us in this picture, where we are currently staying on honeymoon. We spoke for some time about Scotland, his life & how much he adored his wife, but I could have talked to him for hours. I don’t know if I’ll ever see him again, but we exchanged emails and vowed to keep in touch. I said I’d do my best to travel to Bonne one day to visit him. I just love serendipitous events such as this 🇩🇪 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
