📷 April 13, 2026 CISD Board of Trustees Special Board Workshop Recap: The CISD Board of Trustees met Monday evening for a Special Board Workshop to recognize outstanding Dragons and review important district updates and future planning items. 📷 Recognitions 📷 Trustees celebrated the Lady Dragon Soccer Team for their outstanding season and continued success. The Board also recognized April #InspireExcellence honorees, including Colleen Aldridge (Eubanks Intermediate) as Elementary Teacher of the Month, Suzanne Adams (Carroll High School) as Secondary Teacher of the Month, and Yunis Calderon (Rockenbaugh Elementary) as Employee of the Month. Special thanks to #EECU for sponsoring our #InspireExcellence Awards! 📷 Board Action No action was taken on the Personnel Report. 📷 President’s Report 📷 Board President Cam Bryan shared updates on CISD’s participation in the 📷 America 250 initiative, highlighting efforts to bring this historic milestone to life through student learning and community engagement. He also provided an update on Transition Teams, noting that membership selections are nearing completion with meetings set to begin in May. 🐉 CISD Board of Trustees Special Board Workshop President’s Report (April 13, 2026) At this week’s meeting, Board President Cam Bryan shared exciting updates highlighting student engagement, future planning, and the celebration of major milestones across Carroll ISD. 🇺🇸 🗽🇺🇸 Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary 🇺🇸 Carroll ISD is proud to participate in the USA 250 initiative, a nationwide effort to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Our district is bringing this historic milestone to life through meaningful classroom connections, student engagement opportunities, and community partnerships that honor our nation’s history and future. 🏫 Transition Teams Update We are in the final stages of selecting members for all seven Transition Teams that will help guide the district’s long-term planning efforts. These teams represent a strong cross-section of our community and will play a critical role as we plan for future capacity needs. Team members will be announced soon, with meetings set to begin in May. 🎓 Graduation Season is Here One of the most meaningful times of the year is almost here! Graduation for the Class of 2026 is scheduled for May 22, and we look forward to celebrating this incredible milestone with our seniors and their families.
