Today is a regularly scheduled staff workday, but due to predicted ⛈️ severe weather this afternoon, all CCPS school and district buildings will close by 12:00 p.m. ❌ All afternoon and evening activities are cancelled. 🌦️ Please stay safe and monitor local weather conditions.

West Carteret High NJROTC hosted its Annual Area Manager Inspection ⚓ and was proudly presented the 2025 Distinguished Unit Award with Honors 🏅 — delivered in person by Navy leadership. Our cadets represented their school and CCPS with professionalism, discipline, and pride.

Huge congrats to our CCPS high school artists! Across all 3 schools, students earned 88 Scholastic Art Awards (Gold, Silver & Honorable Mention) out of 1,700+ entries statewide. Their artwork was showcased at ECU, and Gold Key pieces now advance to national judging in New York!

📢 CCPS will operate on a two-hour delay for students tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 27. ❄️ This decision was made with weather and emergency management officials due to forecasted pre-dawn temperatures in the teens and wind chills in the single digits.
