Comunicado del Consejo de redacción de Canal Red sobre las acusaciones vertidas por Sergio Gregori y su entorno Frente a las acusaciones vertidas por Sergio Gregori y su entorno contra Canal Red, queremos manifestar lo siguiente: En julio de 2024, Sergio Gregori demandó ante los tribunales a Canal Red y a uno de sus trabajadores, alegando una supuesta vulneración de sus derechos fundamentales, menoscabo de su dignidad y acoso moral. Ningún otro trabajador o extrabajador de este medio ha interpuesto jamás una demanda judicial contra la empresa. Para sostener su acusación, Gregori aportó correos electrónicos, mensajes de chat y numerosas grabaciones de audio que él mismo había realizado a sus compañeros y responsables de forma subrepticia, sin el conocimiento ni el consentimiento de estos. En la sentencia dictada el 31 de octubre del mismo año, la magistrada del Juzgado de lo Social número 15 de Madrid desestimó la totalidad de la demanda. El fallo judicial determinó que, pese a la ingente cantidad de grabaciones, audios y documentos aportados por el demandante, no se acreditaba ninguna vulneración de los derechos fundamentales de Sergio Gregori. La sentencia concluía además que no existía relación alguna entre sus problemas de salud mental y el trato recibido en la empresa. La sentencia señaló explícitamente, como hechos probados, que Sergio Gregori recibió en todo momento un trato "correcto y amable" por parte de la empresa. Asimismo, el texto judicial constató en sus hechos probados que el demandante grabó a sus compañeros y jefes sin consentimiento —comenzando dichas grabaciones incluso antes de empezar la relación laboral, durante las reuniones previas a su contratación— y que llegó a manifestar a una compañera de trabajo su intención de forzar su propio despido. Aunque Gregori presentó un recurso ante el Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Madrid, el tribunal ratificó íntegramente la sentencia original. Finalmente, suponemos que persuadido por sus abogados, Sergio Gregori desistió de continuar pleiteando en los tribunales. Tras finalizar una baja médica de más de un año, Gregori se reincorporó a Canal Red durante apenas unos días. Su salida definitiva se produjo tras acogerse a la cláusula de conciencia respecto a la línea editorial del canal —una prerrogativa a la que siempre se habría podido acoger—, y llegó a un acuerdo con Canal Red para la extinción de la relación laboral. Canal Red evaluará con su equipo legal las declaraciones de Sergio Gregori o de su entorno que puedan resultar calumniosas, atenten contra el honor de cualquiera de nuestros compañeros o supongan una acusación falsa de delito contra los derechos de los trabajadores y llevará a cabo las correspondientes acciones legales. Now imagine being held that way for hours, and even days. Stress positions are used in torture to cut off circulation and create extreme pain in the joints. Postures of humiliation are chosen where you cannot see what is happening, and have no chance to remain calm, clear, and alert. . Having your kidneys exposed to cold air creates vasoconstriction, high blood pressure, strains the renal system, lowers immunity and causes acute physiological stress. I think of how many people in the world are being tortured right now as I write. I don't have to say this but I will. There are very few people who will put themselves aside to help others. There are only a few who would try (and even try again) to deliver food and medical supplies to Gaza. Both Canada and the US are ratified in the Geneva conventions against torture. In war time or in peace time, torture is not legal. Stop supplying Israel. Stop supporting Israel. Apply sanctions. If we do not stop Israel's use of torture, one thing is clear. We are complicit.
