Superior Across the Board!
All four CCPS bands, CMS, FTB, CCHS, and EVHS, earned Superior ratings at the VBODA District Band Assessment on March 6–7.

Tonight, the School Board recognized EVHS student-athlete Olivia Denham for her performance at the VHSL Class 4 State Swimming Championships. Presented by Coach Chris Denham, Olivia placed 7th in the Girls 50-yard freestyle, and broke several school records this season.
Tonight, the School Board recognized EVHS student-athlete Allison Zarnowski for her performance at the VHSL Girls Wrestling State Tournament. Presented by Coach Lexi Snow, Allison earned 6th place overall and 2nd in Class 4 in the 132-pound weight class. Congratulations!
Tonight, the School Board recognized EVHS VHSL Class 4 Boys Wrestling state placers, presented by Coach Chris Taylor: Benjamin Davis (4th, 113), Declan McCarton (4th, 120), Michael Byrne (State Champion, 165), and Nathan Taylor (5th, 175). Congratulations, Cyclones!
The CTEC Open House has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 4, 2026 due to today’s school closure. The event will be held from 5–7 PM, with a presentation from the CTEC Principal at 5:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
Due to potential impacts from the impending winter storm, all CCPS activities scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026 and Sunday, January 25, 2026 will be canceled.
