Last night the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Foundation recognized 830 teachers in the 37th annual Outstanding Teacher Awards program. Eight teachers were selected as winners and will now go on to vie for Carroll County Teacher of the Year. bit.ly/477bSZv.

Due to the forecast of severe weather, Carroll County Public Schools offices, including central office, will be closing two hours early today, Monday, March 16. After-school and evening activities, including community use of school facilities, are cancelled as well.

Just a reminder that the African American Read-In is happening TONIGHT!

POSTPONEMENT: Due to the inclement weather day, the African American Read-In scheduled for this evening will now take place on Wednesday, February 25, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Carroll Arts Center, located at 91 West Main Street in Westminster, Maryland.

After re-evaluation, Carroll County Public Schools will be closed today, Monday, February 23. Offices, including central office, will open at 11:00 a.m.

Due to inclement weather, Carroll County Public Schools will be opening two hours late on Monday, February 23, with a re-evaluation by 7:00 a.m.

Congratulations to the CCPS students who were winners in the “I Voted” Sticker Contest sponsored by the Carroll County Board of Elections. The stickers will be given to citizens who vote during the 2026 Gubernatorial Election.
