When that happens, even paid content can vanish from your library or show as “currently unavailable.” Amazon’s own terms of use state this in the fine print: “Purchased Digital Content will generally continue to be available… but may become unavailable due to potential content provider licensing restrictions or for other reasons, and Amazon will not be liable to you if Purchased Digital Content becomes unavailable.” If you’re going to buy a movie, don’t buy it on Amazon.
