Happy Palm Sunday! We attended early church this morning. Our service did a timeline of Holy Week. I didn't realize that Jesus drove the moneychangers out of the temple on Monday of Holy Week. Didn't put that together until today. During his Palm Sunday message yesterday, Pope Leo XIV said: "(Christ) does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them." As a blanket statement, this is EXPLICITLY heterodoxical. We know from the Scriptures that Moses prayed and received victory in war, as did several Israelite kings such as David. In fact, whole chunks of the Psalms -- when David prayed for wartime victory over his enemies -- would now be in error according to Pope Leo XIV. Then there's the fact when Christ returns it will be with a robe dipped in blood and a sword in His mouth. But I'm sure that's merely decorative. Ironically, the best thing this pope accomplished with his hippy dippy Palm Sunday message is confirm my belief in Sola Scriptura. But let's take it further and look at this from an explicitly Catholic perspective. This would also be a repudiation of the history of the Catholic Church this pope presides over, which several times righteously went to war to preserve itself and the West. Which we should all still be thankful for today. For example, Pope Pius V attributed his legendary victory over the Ottomans (Muslims) in 1517 (the very year Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation) to the Rosary prayers of the faithful HE INSTRUCTED to pray. And that victory was considered such a supernatural miracle of prayer, that Pope Pius V was later sainted. I'm sure the Ottomans were repelled without any bloodshed. This from this pope is not a Christian sentiment in any way, shape, or form but a ridiculously hippy and worldly one. The kind of stuff fools who pray over blocks of ice and visit climate conferences think and say. And to ironically drop it in a message on the day Christ is welcomed to Jerusalem as the "son of David" -- who prayed many of those answered wartime prayers to God -- is especially revolting. Perhaps this pope should research if God answers the prayers of heretics?

My 5 year old son obviously knows that I support President Trump… It’s a little hard to explain to a five-year-old that the reason that police are in your house at 2AM is because someone called them on you because you love the president. Anyway, apparently kids at school have told him that Trump is terrible and that they hate him. Hilariously, he asked them why and none of them knew why. Of course, my son knows exactly why I support the president. He helped us after the hurricane. It makes me sad to see a lot of indoctrinated kids at the protest yesterday, they don’t know why they’re there. They just know it makes their parents happy and it gets them. Interviews on the news and their friends applaud them on TikTok. I don’t blame the kids, I do blame their uninformed parents. The best way to defeat the Left is to have kids and teach them well.

Thank you to the North Dakota Republican Party for having me at their state convention in Minot last night. 1hr and 5min keynote speech, no notes, no script, no prep, just the facts. I went because the NDGOP has wrestled their party from the establishment and I count them as fellow patriots in a battle for the soul of the heartland. We will save this country, if we're willing to fight for it. If we're willing to tell the truth about some things that are uncomfortable, but as real as the resurrection of Christ.
