A U.S. attack submarine with the capability to insert special operations forces surfaced inside Nuuk Fjord for a medical evacuation Saturday.
Questions follow:
How long had it been operating in the area?
What was its mission prior to the evacuation?
Were Danish and Greenlandic authorities informed?
This could be routine - but given recent threats, clarification is warranted.

Trump will not give up his claim on Greenland.
Americans cannot or will not stop him.
Jan 6 made that clear.
There is nothing to negotiate. What Trump wants is not concessions. He demands the one thing that cannot be given: land and sovereignty.
If Europe does not rise against Trump when our territory is threatened, Europe has already made its choice: submission to the United States and to Trump.
If Europe accepts this world order, it will lead to weakness and poverty. And it will be self-inflicted — the result of short-term greed and convenience disguised as realism.
