Supply and demand also confirms the trend. In an uptrend: → Demand zones hold as support → Supply zones get broken and flipped In a downtrend: → Supply zones hold as resistance → Demand zones get broken and flipped When you see supply zones consistently respected and demand zones consistently broken, that's distribution. Large players are selling. When the opposite happens, that's accumulation. Large players are buying. The most powerful concept in supply and demand: the flip. Supply becomes demand: Price breaks above a supply zone, retests it from above and it now acts as support. Bullish signal. Demand becomes supply: Price breaks below a demand zone, retests it from below and it now acts as resistance. Bearish signal. How to confirm the flip: high volume on the retest + candle closes above/below the level + value being built. Without confirmation, it's not a flip. It's a fake-out. (5/6)

Most traders draw support and resistance as lines. The ones who trade consistently draw them as zones. Here's the complete Supply & Demand framework, the concept behind why certain price levels react, and how to use them to enter with precision 🧵 (Save this. Use it every session.) (1/6)

Before every trade, ask yourself: Who is getting this wrong right now and where do they get stuck? If one side of the market is offside, their stops become your catalyst. Their pain becomes your entry.

Most traders obsess over entries and exits. Almost nobody talks about the spread. The spread is the hidden cost of every trade. On ES, a typical 1-tick spread costs $12.50 per contract. On NQ, 2-3 ticks, more on volatile days. On a thin exchange or after hours, that spread can spike to 15-20 ticks. You enter the trade already down $150-$200. The instrument you choose affects every single trade you take.

You don't need a complex system to trade futures. Watch the trend. Watch the volume. When the trend shifts and volume starts to spike, that's the signal. A confirmation that real money is moving in a direction. Waiting for volume to confirm the move isn't being late. It's being right. The traders who enter before volume confirms are guessing. The traders who wait are reading.

Most traders quit right before things start to click. Because they ran out of patience a few steps before the turning point. The frustration you feel after months of learning... that's not a sign to stop. It's a sign you've learned enough to know what you don't know yet. That awareness is the foundation of consistent trading. The traders who make it aren't the most talented. They're the ones who kept going.

Most traders use the default VWAP. It's wrong for intraday trading. Why? Because the default VWAP includes overnight volume, sessions with almost no real activity. The levels it produces are too far from price to be actionable. The RTH VWAP, anchored only to regular trading hours, is where the real activity happens. And that's exactly where price reacts. First touch of RTH VWAP during a session? More often than not, you get a reaction. Use the right tool for the right session.

Not every asset is worth day trading. Some assets are excellent for swing trades, with clear levels, good structure, meaningful moves over days or weeks. The same asset on an intraday basis? Sometimes dead volume, no movement, nothing actionable for hours. Choosing the right asset for the right style is part of the edge.

If a tool isn't working, change the tool. Not the strategy. Not the asset. Not the approach. The tool. Most traders stay on a platform that's giving them bad fills, unreliable data, or poor execution because they've invested time learning it. That's costing you money every session. The best traders are ruthlessly practical about their setup. If something better exists, they switch. No ego. No attachment. Just results.

It's Friday. @lgor_t has already been live in our community covering how: BTC has been grinding higher all week, but still hasn't broken the key resistance overhead. ES and NQ have been printing new all-time highs. Two very different stories. Two very different opportunities. The read for today: patience. Wait for price to either break and retest cleanly or pull back to a level worth buying. After a 30% move, the worst trade you can make is chasing. The best one is waiting for the market to come to you. Have a good weekend. Watch the full update in: portal.chartchampions.com

Moving your stop loss when price gets close isn't risk management. It's hope with extra steps. Your stop goes where your trade idea is invalidated, decided before you enter. Not adjusted when it becomes uncomfortable. The moment you move a stop wider, you're no longer managing risk. You're negotiating with the market. The market doesn't negotiate.

Every week, Severin goes live with Chart Champions members for the Altcoin Weekly Update. He scans through his full watchlist live. Every asset he's watching, every level of interest, every trade he's in or waiting for. This week he covered which assets have clean setups, which are too slow to trade, where he took profits at the high and why he's staying patient instead of forcing trades right now. That kind of access doesn't exist anywhere else. Join the community and you can watch this is our video library → chartchampions.com/?utm_source=X&…
