So, after 43 years, our time in the @nwcfl comes to an end following today’s news of our lateral move to the @MidlandLeague. There have been plenty of unforgettable memories over those four decades - and a few we’d probably rather forget too! Now we begin a new chapter and look forward to visiting new grounds, renewing old friendships, and meeting clubs we haven’t crossed paths with for many years. One small request though… please don’t give us @lyetownfc1930 away on a Tuesday night in December. A 178-mile round trip might be pushing it! 😅

Last week, we hosted our annual Academy Awards day. 14 awards were given out to celebrate a great year for all of our learners, with lots of success, both on the pitch and in the classroom. FULL-TIME. It wasn’t to be for the Stingers in the Play-Off Final. A huge effort from the girls, who gave absolutely everything on the day, but fall just short. We couldn’t be prouder of this group - the commitment, togetherness and quality shown all season has been outstanding and this run deserves huge credit. ❤️🐝 We go again.

PLAY-OFF FINAL 🔥 This Saturday, our women’s team take on the biggest game of their season as they face Boldmere St Michaels in the FA WNL Promotion Play-Off Final at the Pirelli Stadium (KO 1:00PM). A place in the Northern Premier Division is on the line - one game, one opportunity. We want to wish the girls the very best of luck. We’re all incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved this season - go and finish it in style! ❤️🐝

And that’s a wrap on the 2025/26 season. 56 games played, 1 abandoned, and 6 postponements. A disappointing campaign overall, but plenty of positives to build on as the Jack Edwards era begins.
