There are only two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it. - Oscar Wilde

SPLC is trying to shame Google into blacklisting Do No Harm from its grants program (available to most 501(c)(3) nonprofits). The SPLC demonizes "'detransitioner' rehtoric" as if people like @ChloeCole are not real victims of "gender-affirming care." 🧵2/6

FOX NEWS INVESTIGATION: 425 organizations with a combined $1 billion in annual revenues coordinate 736 anti-Israel 'Nakba 78' protests across 39 countries today — a transnational network that includes communist groups, Marxist-funded nonprofits and coalitions linked to Chinese Communist Party sympathizers. The campaign's own materials don't call for a ceasefire or two-state solution. They call for the dismantling of Israel itself, framing the U.S. as a 'fascist, imperialist, genocidal settler state' and erasing Israel's name entirely from their literature. The U.S. leads all nations with 187 events planned.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris discussed the implications of the recent Supreme Court decision narrowing the Voting Rights Act during an appearance on a Win With Black Women organizing call Wednesday. “What they are doing is, they are backdooring racism behind politics to get to this decision and to justify them, what is happening in particular right now in all the southern states," Harris said. "This is obviously a time for us to fight."

A peer-reviewed paper published last year in the journal Bioethics by two professors at Western Michigan University School of Medicine argues that it is "morally obligatory" to genetically engineer ticks to spread alpha-gal syndrome, a permanent condition that makes you violently allergic to red meat. The paper is called "Beneficial Bloodsucking." Their argument: if eating meat is morally wrong, then preventing the spread of a disease that forces people to stop eating meat is also morally wrong. Scientists should gene-edit lone star ticks to enhance their ability to carry alpha-gal syndrome and expand their range into urban environments to infect more people. They call this a "moral bioenhancer." They frame releasing genetically modified disease-carrying ticks as a "vaccination" that only "infringes" on your bodily autonomy rather than "violating" it. The distinction, apparently, is that a tick bit you instead of a government official holding you down. Alpha-gal syndrome is not mild. The CDC estimates up to 450,000 Americans are already affected. Cases have surged 100-fold in the last decade. Symptoms include anaphylaxis. There is no cure. Alpha-gal cases are exploding across the United States. The lone star tick's range is expanding far beyond its historical territory. And two academics at a medical school published a paper arguing this is a good thing that should be accelerated. At what point do we stop treating papers like this as fringe academic exercises and start asking whether anyone is already acting on them?

WELL I was assaulted by a schizo homeless guy today in Toronto. I was walking to the grocery store when he started stalking me. I tried to get away from him but it didn’t work. He grabbed me, pinned me against a fence, and then tried to break my hand to steal my phone. Three people passing by helped save me. The police were quick and kind, but the officer I spoke with told me this guy had been arrested for attacking people repeatedly in the past month, and “fair warning, a judge will probably let him out by tomorrow morning.” 🫠 lovely system we got goin on here folks

Charlamagne Tha God continues The Daily Show's recent history of saying Clarence Thomas is a race traitor. After a clip of Sen. Chris Coons, he says "This was confusing for me because 'Mr. Coons' is actually my nickname for Clarence Thomas."

A lot of Democrats are willing to sacrifice Black voting power to beat the GOP. In a new POLITICO Poll, a plurality of Dems say the party should counter Republican gerrymandering, even if it means reducing the number of majority-minority districts. 🔗 politi.co/3PkA70E
