OFFICIAL: The Angels have acquired C/DH Moisés Ballesteros and minor league RHP Mason McGwire from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for RHP Ryan Zeferjahn.

Given what has transpired, I have to retract my earlier report about the Cubs acquiring Reid Detmers. I don't report breaking news often, and I had not been wrong even once before this. But I was wrong today, it seems. I am sorry. I will do better next time.
