The Foundation focuses on bringing a greater sense of awareness to the world’s major social, environmental, and health issues, such as the health impacts of climate change in Small Island Developing States. During the event, students got to see how a tornado is formed🌪️😊

The Ashley Lashley Foundation’s Eco-Active Youth School Tours made a comeback before summer break! Teaching children about climate change allows them to develop a sense of responsibility & passion for the world, and we need all hands on deck to reverse this climate crisis.

CLF worked with Sidney to execute a Microgrid Project in Dominica, which won the CREF 2023 Best Resilient Energy Project, and to deploy a renewable cold-chain storage project at 10 polyclinics throughout Barbados to keep vaccine fridges operational during & after disasters.🙌🏿

This day came to be known as "Juneteenth.” What followed 200+ years of enslavement was the period known as Reconstruction—an era where formerly enslaved people sought to reunify families, establish schools, run for political office, and push revolutionary legislation⚖️

We hope everyone has plans for #Juneteenth today! Here is a brief history as a reminder of why we celebrate⬇️ On June 19, 1865, thousands of Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, where they announced that the 250,000+ enslaved Black people in the state were set free.

Their programs holistically meet the needs of youth through several programs including performing arts training and scholarships. Through the partnership with CLF, OTT recently wrapped an incredible production of Cinderella! Photos below😊
