Are our community fire stations at risk? There is a review instigated by the new Reform council looking at LCC Fire estate. The relevant executive member was unable to offer a commitment that no Fire stations in Lincs will close.

Hello Peter, thanks for the question. Reform took control of Lincolnshire County Council last May. Since then we have repaired more potholes than ever before, resurfaced more miles of roads than ever before and we have just agreed a huge increase in funding for potholes and drains. I have looked on FixMyStreet and the pot holes are due to be repaired. I will get some info as to when and let you know. But we are doing a huge amount on our enormous road network.

I really don’t understand why Cllr Matthews keeps denying that he & his executive voted to recommend a 4.9% council tax increase on 6Jan. At least they responded to our pressure & have now reduced it but it’s still an increase
