The D.C. Council's last legislative session is still ongoing, but for now here's the story on the approval of an emergency bill to overhaul the D.C. Housing Authority's board: dcist.com/story/22/12/20…

History is made. DC just passed the 13th #DomesticWorkersBillofRights. A bill of rights means the women of color who work in our homes will be paid fair and feel safe on the job. Congrats to the DC chapter members who made this possible!



It's the final legislative session of 2022! Will Bowser score a Christmas miracle or a lump of coal with her push to reform DCHA's board? It may be hard for Mendelson to find the votes, but keep in mind, committee assignments are still up for grabs... washingtoncitypaper.com/article/582789…
