This is coming from a place of humor, not self pity: Looking at crypto and my portfolio with a short term lens is maddening. I have been attempting to go counter to my intuition, which has historically lead me to some really poor outcomes. Basically countertrading my impulse, which is to "buy the dip" in alts. Instead I've been sitting on my hands. Now, we're witnessing a short term rally in things like $TAO, $HYPE, even $PEPE. I have added zero. I can't panic and throw out my counter-trade thesis, but if things are "up only" from here, I managed to be so wrong that counter-trading myself was also wrong. 100% miss rate? Damn. I do add "boring stuff" with DCA, so at least I have that, but I want us all to find that 100x that we've been missing for years. @ZssBecker I find myself spending way too many of my mental cycles on the crap we study daily just to survive in this market. I'll try to compartmentalize that more. Also, is shitposting a valid purpose?

I know rich men who are miserable. I know middle class men who are happy. I also know the vice versa. The unhappy ones are the one who chose their life based around money. Whether out of pursuing excess of it or making enough to just get by. People that work jobs they hate are JUST as controlled by money as a person driven by endless greed. The happy ones are the ones who found their passion in work regardless of the $$ amount. Don't get me wrong. More $$ is better than less $$. But it won't replace the real point. A man needs a purpose. The happiest men work for purpose. Kobe would of played ball for minimum wage and would have lived a perfectly happy fulfilled life If you find that purpose and a way to make rent. You've won. The end. You've won. You've won hard.

PEPE chilling around $20-50m before it ran straight up to $1b and then $4b shortly after. I know a coin that will do this at some point, I just can't prove it yet.

@Grayscale @nvidia @chamath @theallinpod I added $TAO crypto, but would absolutely recommend people without crypto rails to look into Grayscale's products. I'm quite happy with the BTC/ETH/SOL offerings. Great for retirement accounts.

I added more $TAO last night. Kind of looks like a case of bad timing since I over paid (Kraken showed me a price far higher than the chart). Long term, I don't think we'll sweat a $3xx buy on $TAO one bit. We'll be thanking ourselves for having the conviction to buy when everyone is fearful. Hope that helps anyone who is on the fence.
