Celebrating Women in Construction! Our New York office marked the occasion with a group lunch for the incredible women on our team, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of one of our very cool projects - the legendary Eugene O’Neill Theatre. Our #MEP and #PerformanceContracting teams partnered on the design and construction to replace the building’s entire #HVAC system for this 101-year-old historic landmark, all while the theatre remained fully operational. The Broadway show must go on! The group got the full experience of being on stage of the ‘The Book of Mormon’, then heading down to the cellar and up to the roof to see the results of the upgrades firsthand. CMTA was proud to support the Peaks for Progress Charity event at Mountain Creek Resort—now in its second year and officially an annual tradition! Nearly 100 attendees came together to support the @hoodstowoods Foundation, which was founded with the goal of improving the lives of youth through snowboarding. Omar Diaz, Co-Founder, shared an inspiring overview of Hoods To Woods’ impact, achievements, and future goals, making the event truly special, while connecting with friends and colleagues, made atmosphere was just as memorable as the mission. Paul Sabella from CMTA, Justin Brzostowski from AIS, and Chris Galipo from Turner & Townsend hosted and organized the successful event, which raised over $12,000 for Hoods To Woods! We are looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year.

The @FlyLouisville Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) #geothermal system has been recognized by the Depertment of @ENERGY as an outstanding model of #sustainable infrastructure. This project is now highlighted on their Geothermal Heat Pump Case Studies map as a leader in large-scale #EnergyEfficiency! @center_grove is taking a bold step toward long-term #sustainability through a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract with CMTA. As part of this multi-phase effort, Maple Grove and Sugar Grove Elementary Schools were designed to become Indiana’s first two #NetZero energy schools—featuring geothermal #HVAC and districtwide solar. Maple Grove Elementary recently earned $970,132 in federal Clean Energy Tax Credits for its #geothermal and #solar upgrades. These improvements support the district’s long-term efficiency goals while creating healthier, more comfortable learning environments.
