Congratulations to Hunter Rogers of Southside HS for his recent commitment to Nunez. He's another example of a late bloomer who has come onto the scene with a bang. His tall frame & projectable body with velocity now 90+ has made many excited about his future. We are proud of U!

Jabe Boroff, #UBO alum, standout catcher/third baseman from Macon East, faced setback of an elbow injury before his senior season, limiting his chances of being recruited by colleges, his strong work ethic earned him a scholarship at Enterprise State. Jabe, we are proud of U!

Thomas Marsala, St. Fredericks & #UBO alumni, performs consistently at the plate! Before WKU, he played at BRCC and Hinds, with contributions that earned him a spot among the 2025 D1 Baseball Top 50 Impact JUCO Transfers. Marsala shows no signs of slowing down! We are proud of U!

Connor Stelly, an STM and #UBO alumni, continues to play a crucial role for Nunez Community College! His contributions were highlighted this past weekend when he hit two home runs against BRCC, demonstrating how strong he is in the lineup. Great job, Connor! We are proud of U!

Josh (Hoffmann) Eames, a John Curtis and #UBO alumni, has established a strong reputation while focusing on becoming the best version of himself. This season, he has already achieved impressive statistics, we can't wait to see what he accomplishes next. Josh, we are proud of you!

Evan Hebert, a #UBO & Loreauville High standout, 2A Player of the Year in 2013, with a 9-2 record and 131 strikeouts. He excelled at the University of Arizona, Northwest Florida State, & Troy State before playing professionally in Columbia. Now a US Navy SEAL, we are proud of U!

Tyson Collier, former #UBO & Wetumpka HS RHP, currently in his sophomore year at NJCAA DII Nationally ranked Enterprise State CC. He has developed from an 83-86 arm to an 87-90, topping at 93mph, commanding real attention! Best of luck this season Tyson, we are proud of U!

Kyle Cedotal attended Southeastern Louisiana University, earning multiple national pitcher of the week honors, 2015 Collegiate All Louisiana, and 2016 All American. In 2016 he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies. Kyle is head coach at Denham Springs High. Kyle, we are proud of U!

Former #UBO athlete and current Bearcats pitcher Brian Gonzales is working hard during his freshman season! With 5 saves and 3 wins, Gonzales is showing great momentum. Way to go, Brian! We are proud of U!

Congratulations to former #UBO athletes Garett Blanchard and Trent Hillen! Garett was one of the leaders in ERA in NJCAA and Trent was named the Southland Pitcher of the Week! We expect big things in the future for Garett and Trent. We are proud of U!

Nick Lee, a #UBO alum, was an outstanding pitcher and equally talented shortstop. A talented & highly decorated athlete in high school and college, Nick was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018. After suffering an injury, he retired in 2022. Nick, we are proud of U!

Mitchell Sanford, #UBO alumni, and OF for Ole Miss; began his college career at LSU, and transferred to UT Arlington. Overcoming an injury, Mitchell played at UNO, and is now hitting .319 at Ole Miss! We wish you well this season Mitchell, we are proud of U!

Corey Campbell, Ezekiel Academy (AL) head Coach with multiple state tournament appearances and UBO coach is a true baseball enthusiast. His passion for helping athletes live out their dream of playing baseball keeps him on the field. Best wishes Coach Corey, we are proud of U!
